The basis for the suspension was that the person to which the license had been issued, Alan Raines, had instructed the State to immediately remove his name from the license. Agent McNabb was very apologetic about having to suspend the license, because he was aware that the business had already applied for a person to replace Mr. Raines on the license. However, Agent McNabb felt that he had no choice other than to suspend Casita's license. The East Atlanta Community Association represents the interests of both residents and business owners and in this case EACA will be seeking to do whatever it can to assist Casita is regaining its ability to serve alcohol.
