It’s A Show About Nothing
Food Poisoning v. Paulie, Round 2
I have to admit that Food Poisoning has put up a much harder fight than I thought it could. Round two was scored a draw as each opponent displayed rope-a-dope techniques while comtemplating their final strategy.
Yesterday’s sum total of food was two cans of Ginger Ale and one glass of a Gatorade-like substance. I never left the house yesterday; 98% of my day was spent in bed, with the exception of about an hour on the couch, and trips to the bathroom and kitchen. Today I am still beat, something to do with the fact that I was awake from 2:00am-4:00am I surmise.
Round 3, what I hope will be the final round, is going in my favor. I’m out of bed and have eaten a banana nut muffin and drank a glass of milk (I hear it does a body good, y’know).
Where You Probably Won’t Find Me Tonight
Two fun things are on Atlanta’s schedule this evening, I will most likely be missing both. “The Wiz” is playing on the green of Piedmont Park, bring a blanket and a boxed dinner (bring nothing that will spoil — trust me). For live music interests, Starlight Mints are playing tonight at Smith’s Olde Bar. Either event will be worth your time or money, so I suggest that you get out of the house tonight. As for me, I’ll most likely be on the couch with a glass of Ginger Ale and a bowl of white rice. I’m taking this recovery nice and slow, see; nice and slow.
Sorry for another brief post today. I’m running very late so I don’t have the time I’d like to devote to this. Tune in tomorrow for a return to form, including one of my non-award-winning pictures!

Real shitty that things havent’ worked out this week for you…and definitely sorry about “the phone call.” Something similar just occured with me earlier today, this time over IM. Not much fun.
