Still planning on shooting a lot Smoove D, but I’ve been unhappy with my results and think with a little insight about some of the cooler features of the D50 I can fix some things.

@Barb, Sope Creek sucks. I hate that place. I rode once, and never went back. It would be okay, if it wasn’t for all the fucking clueless hikers.

@Paulie – step away from the manual. Go shoot some flicks. You’ll learn far more shooting than you will reading.

I am just being a realist brother…

I expect my bars to have beer I like. If they also serve good food, then that is a bonus. I forgot that Brick Store is branching out. I wonder if the clientele will be the same.

Glad to see the “I’m not going to die alone Paulie” is back… .

I was at the Brickstore Friday nite with Jim, the place was packed! Good suds and ok food… as usual, if I wanted good food and bad beer, I’d go somewhere else. But for awesome beer and ok food, it fits the bill! Apparently there will be a new Brickstore at Confederate and Ormwood in Grant Park in the not so distant future. cheers!

@Barb: I think that I need different eyewear before returning to mountain biking. A while ago I realized why my riding got worse, I couldn’t tell what the hell was in front of me. I plan to get new glasses soon (see a future post), but have no intention of getting sports glasses, contacts, or lasik.

hey Paulie, I went mountain biking both Saturday & Sunday. You ought to dust off the bike, especially if the knee is hurting. We went to Yellow River on Saturday, the county (not sure if it Dekalb or Gwinnett) changed it a lot from years ago, but it is nice for beginners or people that don’t want a tough ride. It isn’t super technical so I really enjoyed it. It is just the other side of Stone Mountain, so it isn’t an all day adventure. Sunday’s ride was another story, we went to Sope Creek, and I didn’t have much fun. I really need to get in better shape.

I had a great time Stacy sans ‘e’. Although I still can’t figure out why El Myr has DJs come in to spin music on Friday nights. That place is just so damn small!
