Looking forward to hearing this weekend all about the recent change in your professional life - over beers, of course.

Ran a couple of miles yesterday and will run a couple more tomorrow - should be ready for 7 this weekend... well, maybe not ready, but I probably won't die...

As for vacations, you can always check out Backroads. Lisa and Amanda can only rave about the biking/camping vacations they've been on with them: http://www.backroads.com/

I have an idea, and don't take this the wrong way, but what about one of those exercise/spa types of places? I know you've been running, but spending a week doing some intense training might really help with your mental (& physical) well being.

Head to Key West, or Mexico... what about PR or DR??

You could also just visit the "best of the South"! (whatever they might be)

Maybe the change at work is just the "Kick in the arse" that you need to start looking or upgrading your work set........

vacation...... you could go to Iowa with us and ride a few days of RAGBRAI at the end of July. And, then for the real fun, you could be my date to my class reunion, since Allan said he's done it once, and that is enough, he will stay home with my family.

Does "not not a euphemism" actually really make it a euphenism by being a double negative?

You should go to Andersonville this year. And you should take me.

@Steve: good point, most people have no idea to whom I refer.

@Barb: okay, I'll start watching. I can't guarantee completeness -- especially if my eye candy goes away quickly.

@Maigh: thanks for the update. I hadn't forgot that you mentioned coordinating one of these, I just didn't want to speak for you.
