I got stuck at that light on my way to the Marta station this morning and noticed the billboard for the first time today.

HA! Did you get today’s website from that billboard at the corner of Maynard Terrace and Memorial? Every morning I pass that sucker on the way to work, and it always pisses me off.

Yeah she was quite the sport…. although I am not sure if she liked the shots I gave her.

I learned a lot, but mostly from my shoot. I learned to slow down. I learned to take control of the situation, otherwise I won’t be satisfied with the results. I also learned not to enter into a competition with Maigh — she took some awesome shots.

I admit that there are things that I’ve shuddered to eat, even today, but shrimp? Oh well, to each his/her own.

Btw- I didn’t know that cow tongue was tasty until I ordered a “lengua” taco in Arizona last year only to find out later that “lengua = tongue”.

I didn’t eat shrimp until I was 20, but mainly because Mom never prepared it and I never thought to order it anywhere before then.

Those Sweet 16 Spoiled Brat shows are incredible, aren’t they? I guess people really DO live like that, but yeah, what messed up priorities.

Not seeing the show, I can’t really comment with complete accuracy….but you know what? I don’t have to try tripe to say I don’t ever want to eat it. (Or liver, or cow tongue, or you get my picture.) At 16, I was even more picky about what I would try or not try. So, spoiled as she is, I can kind of relate to not wanting to try something you’re already convinced you “don’t like”….even if you never tried it.
