This Extended Stay Deluxe hotel just failed big time! I called the front desk in order to get the password to access the internet and they asked me if I had paid for it. I’m sorry, *paid* for access in a hotel? FAIL!!!

I’m in Melbourne Florida for the Florida Tech career fair. Unfortunately, the hotel in which I was booked charges $11/day for internet access, and I doubt that I can expense it.
Ugh! I’m sure you could expense it but damn its the princple. I got slapped with a fee for using the gym at the hotel once. Between the airlines and the hotels it makes you almost not want to go anywhere…
However, in the positive direction (look at me Tigger up my life) the bar across the road has 2-for-1 happy hour from 9pm to closing. Want to guess where I will be again tonight?
Rat bastards! Which hotel is this? I want to write them a nasty letter explaining how many people are being deprived of their daily ITP because of them…
It’s called Extended Stay Deluxe. They didn’t even have shampoo in the bathroom!
This never would have happened in one of my beloved Choice Hotels. Well, I’m never guaranteed that the internet will work well, but at least I’m not paying extra for it.
