Regarding Metering Lights:
In San Francisco we had metering lights on some bridges like the ones they've just installed here at the highway onramps. They only turned them on when they (some Caltrans employee) felt that the volume was getting too heavy. Not sure how what the rules for turning the lights on here work.

but Martha - you are fast.
We need to plan a hockey night, but not with so much drinking that I can't go to work the next day. I'd get too much shit hte next day from my coworkers. Plus, I hate hangovers, I swear they are so much worse now that I'm old.

No hockey game, just George's (and then The Glennwood), I felt almost as bad though (and I made a similar mistake!).

Well we are meeting 8 am @ Gravity. I'm not kidding about this being slow...her mile pace is 3 mins slower than mine.

I was done with bootcamp before ever starting it!

Not sure about running. I need to be ast South City Kitchen by 10am and am thinking of getting a good night's sleep.

I'm trying not to dwell on my "failure" but it is mildly disappointing, especially since I'm not loging weight.

Drink too much? Did you go to a hockey game? :)

One of the things I've learned is we all get a little off course from time to time. We just need to accept it, maybe learn what the trigger was, and move forward. So DO NOT beat yourself up for going 'off your diet'.

I was a disappointed in myself for how much I drank Wednesday (so much that I didn't make it to work on Thursday)...but I'm not going to dwell on it. I'm just going to try not to do it again (anytime soon).

Yesterday's title rang a bell but I was so out of it, I just couldn't be bothered trying to figure it out.

I'm running in the morning. It will be VERY, VERY slow as I will not be running alone but with a friend from boot camp. Well actually I'm going to run 5 with her and then another 5 alone at my pace. If you/your knee is up for it.

and YEAH ME, I'm finished with boot camp, at least for the near future.

I'm on a quick break. I know I brought back a six pack of Dos Perros made by Yazoo in Nashville. The other was a six pack of some brewery that I don't think I had heard of previously. Their name is not memorable as I cannot think of it right now.

Honey, did you miss that Yuengling is coming to a package store near you soon? All the mystique will soon be gone.

Paulie - your near death story gave me chills. Yay for the semi driver.
