Regarding the fortunes in fortune cookies. I just happened to be listened to various NPR podcast on my trip over the weekend and heard a really good interview with a woman who wrote a book on the history of the fortune cookie. And if I remember correctly, yes, a bunch of people won a lottery with the same fortune cookie numbers.

The portion of the show on ‘cupping’ was also quite eye opening. Get your mind out of the gutter, cupping involves coffee.

I really liked the 11 ball/2 card photo on its own. But the story behind it – things found in your yard – made it that much more interesting! I bet you could do a whole subcategory of photos on just “Things Found in My Yard.”

Thanks, Martha. The reason that I’ve never been to Europe, Asia, or South America is that up until I started taking photos I never traveled alone. Now I love it! So at age 43 I am returning to Canada. Baby steps.

Good for you Paulie, that is one thing I wish I could do…just buy a ticket and go somewhere. I HATE to travel alone, even more than I hate not traveling at all, so here I sit.

I didn’t make it out anywhere last night, even skipped George’s and my run. I really need some motivation right now, anyone?
