Yes! We will be providing something more than orange food on Sunday. (Nothing gourmet mind you, something along the lines of burger/brat/chili...)
I'm going to make some cookies for shor.

Sorry I can't be at the end of ING to meet you marathoners....I'll be laying the Wheelhopper trail then....

Dunkin

Any of you crazy runners, if you want to come to the Wheelhopper ending, $7 for all you can drink beer....... & bad for you snacks. Dunkin Honuts is rumored to be thinking about providing something more than orange food, but that will be a surprise if it happens.

I'm not nearly as bummed about missing the campout as I was earlier. Again, ya'll will have nice weather for the drive back!

Brenan, so far I have heard from no one about meeting at the end. I'm going to work out something with Jerry tonight, but you will be long gone before I get in. It wasn't raining last year, but it was still wet, I ended up with a freakishly large blister on my foot...I know I have a picture somewhere!

Beth if you are before the turn, right after mile 7 (Highland Ave, I think) for the 1/2 runners we will be by that spot.

FWIW I will be heading down to East Point and the Wheelhopper ending for my post-race celebrating.

No rain on Sunday? Good, wet feet=blistered feet. The cold I can deal with. Is anyone hanging out near the end (with beer) after the race like we do for the Atlanta half/full?

I guess we picked the right year not to go to the camp out! Squid is running the ING so Ink Spot and I will be at the turn coming by the Carter Center for the 1/2 doing the sensible thing, watching the runners and drinking coffee and juice. I'm not sure the full comes by that same spot but we'll look for Martha!

Glad you enjoyed "26 Miles". I haven't seen it yet, as I'm not working on it, but the set looks really cool!

My camping forecast looks very similar to yours for today, at 0% chance. Tomorrow however it is at 100%, 'cause I'm cooking and 50 hungry hashers calling for Chef Gentri's head on a plate is something to be avoided if at all possible... not looking fwd to the wet dog smell in my tent however... nasty.

No apologies needed.

And for all the ITP readers running the ING half or full.....good luck and have fun! Looks like the rains will be thru by Sunday but it will be colder.

Paulie: hope you get to go camping!
