I would love to have just a little patch of grass. I just use A Better Gutter Cleaning, no problems with them, they are insured, they clean the gutters and don't leave a mess behind. You can schedule on-line and you don't have to be there when they come. I was thinking about doing it myself but I couldn't think of one good reason not to pay someone else. I'm hoping to get stuff done in the yard this weekend as well, all I managed last Sunday was washing the bird poop off the chairs for my guests. Stop beating yourself up about the yard, you can't fix years of neglect in one weekend. Granted my yard was far worse than yours when I moved in but it took me months to get it sorted out.
