Some Times A Night Is Just A Night

On my way home from a long day of work I decided to stop in for some dinner. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized that it was Tuesday night. To make matters worse I didn’t get home until after Hell’s Kitchen had already started and I also managed to miss a phone call from ITP-Reader Betsy. So I could have had an enjoyable night hanging out with a good friend and instead I spent another night eating dinner alone and not doing much. D’Oh.

The Purchases Just Keep On Coming
I’m buying supplies for the upcoming photo exhibit at which I am going to attempt to sell photos. Mats with backers and plastic bags were reasonably priced, although shipping them to Georgia cost $33 on top of a $111 order (I purchased 75 mat-packages, consisting of two different sizes).

I just purchased an art “bin” in which I will place the bagged, matted photos that I am looking to sell; that set me back another $50 ($10 of which was for shipping).

Now I need to determine which photos that I want to print and pay to have them printed and shipped before the exhibit’s setup at the beginning of October.

Good googly-moogly I hope that I sell something in order to recoup some of my expenses…

Well, I failed on Day #1. The rule of this game is that no photo taken, no photo posted. This will hopefully apply pressure on my to shoot more.

Packed And Ready To Roll
It’s time to get my ass back in the saddle. The Red Rocket is strapped onto the top of the Jackmobile in anticipation of being ridden tonight. If I can make it to Avondale by 6pm I’ll join the Savage Pizza riders, if not I’ll hop on and do a solo ride.

RealiTV Update: Hell’s Kitchen — I’m Shutting It Down!
I’m done with the Hell’s Kitchen! Once again two people were nominated and neither of them were eliminated. It’s all big take and no big cooking to back it up. That’s it. I’m through.

I may try to join you all tonight, I have to decide which is more important another ride or a trip to the store.

I’ve been spending money like crazy the last couple of months. I don’t seem to have much to show for it either. Car repairs, running ‘stuff’, etc. nothing really fun. Oh well, I still owe myself a birthday present. I wonder what I’ll get me?

  2. My purchases don’t seem to be adding to anything more than to my clutter. I *still* need to plunk down much money to repair (prepare) the house.

Soon I’ll be the proud owner of new cycling shoes and pedals (more money out the door).

May I suggest some fine photography on display early next month. 🙂

When is the show…I better put it on the calendar now. September has filled up and October is well on the way.

There are two $5 albums I may get, Adam & the Ants and Midnight Oil. I will pass on the best of Bow Wow Wow, since I already have the one song I know from them. (I just checked, holy cow, there are 22 songs on that album and I did recognize a total of two songs??)

  4. There will be two opportunities to purchase photos.

The Atlanta Photography Exhibit will be showing as part of LeFlash at The Granite Room in Castleberry Hill on Friday, October 2nd from 7p-10p.

The Atlanta Photography Exhibit will be showing at The Granite Room as part of the Castleberry Hill Art Stroll on Friday, October 9th from 7p-10p.

I will be in attendance for the one on October 9th.

I guess we are the only two people left in town?

  6. You may be right. I was chalking it up to an underwhelming blog post today.

Busy day at work, sucks to be me.

    You going to George’s tonight?

Steve, did you bring my bowl 🙂

  9. Bob, I’m probably not going to be at George’s, unless I drive to George’s and start/end my ride there. I’m going out for a solo spin to ride off the frustrations today’s work day has provided me.
