I use to have the WORST acid reflux. felt like I was having a freakn’ heart attack 3 or 4 times a week. Since I’ve lost weight it is pretty much gone…maybe once every month or two.

Paulie, just let me know when you have some free time.

oh, everyone knows I’m just home,…. but we get 5 sick days & I never used them like I should, so what the hell, I’m certainly not using a vacation day for this.

The doctor visit took about an hour

- gave some urine
- blood pressure
- gave some blood
- EKG
- routine checkup stuff
- (unmentionable bits)

Doctor says I’m fairly normal. When I told him about the problems I’ve been having recently he chalked it up to an aggravated esophagus (my remembrance of what he said) most likely caused by stress, alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods, and smoking. I am certainly guilty of all of those except the last. I’ve gotten some temporary medication to attempt to knock back the stomach acid to let my esophagus heal properly, and then I am to stop taking it.

Barb, hope you are better but claim to be sick the rest of the day so you can stay home.

hey all – so you guys don’t wonder where I am whenyou should be worrying about Paulie (hahahaha) I’m at home today after a “fun” injection into my spine. I could maybe go to work after this, but I like to use at least some of my sick days, since I never do otherwise.

Hope the doc visit is over by now.

Bob, my doctor is near midtown — that’s not funny!

Martha, scanner transfer will have to wait a few days. After my physical I’m headed straight to the office so that I can wrap some stuff up before heading to the airport too. Hopefully I’ll see no snow on my trip. I’ll set something up with you when I return.

Steve, have a blast. Remember to keep the waxed sides of the skies facing the snow.

All my bags are packed/ I’m ready to go. (does anyone else get the “Leavin’ on a jet plane” earworm when they travel?”) Looking forward to good friends and good snow in Montana. Camera in tow…
