(I crack myself up) Martha, you weren't around for SnowJam in the '80's.. the GADOT did something similar.. made an announcement that employers should let everyone go home now, in advance of a snow storm. I was coming home from Charlotte! It was a much better day of driving than Wednesday when I went up with 30-40 mph wind gusts trying to blow me off the road.
