Luckily the server split our checks up front, though he was reluctant to do so. PF Chang's also added 18% to each tab, which saved money for me as I routinely tip 20% or more.

The only time I don't mind a larger group for restaurant, is if they will either split up the checks (which is in the best interest of the server tip wise) or if everyone agrees to just split the check evenly. We had a decent experience at a friend's birthday not too long ago at an Italian place in Marietta, servers gave everyone their own checks - I'm sure they made a decent amount because of the ease of paying.

Last night was crazy. Not so much intown but I read there were over 1,500 strikes in 15 minutes. Gwinnett FD had to implement their emergency response plan...too many calls/fires caused by lightening.

As we get older, it gets harder and harder to lose weight. The way we 'use' to do it, doesn't work anymore and we need to try something new. Maybe it's time?

I haven't been to PF Chang's in years (seemed to be a popular 'date' place when I was single), don't really miss it. I'm with you on eating with a big crowd...I hate it. I don't see the point, you can only talk to those folks sitting right next to you, it a cluster f*(k to get your food, and let's not even talk about what happens when the bill comes...

I've always been underwhelmed by PF Chang's too. It is okay, but for the prices, I'd expect it to be better.

We had some great lightning & thunder in Marietta too, I was going to go out to the garden, but decided we have way too many trees, and I'm not going to be the next idiot to get struck by lightning in this town.

Happy Birthday to Lisa - whatever day it really is!

I know Steve, only my knees have gotten older since that day.

I couldn't believe the lightning I witnessed last night while driving to the laundromat; it was the most intense strikes I've seen in a long while. I was certainly glad that I was not cycling anywhere.

Happy (really close day to your) Birthday Lisa!! Hey Paulie, how is it that she has gotten older and we haven't? Amazing...

I hope everyone survived the storms last night. I was cutting the pasture under a clear blue (hot) sky when I heard thunder!! Looking to the south, there were some mean looking clouds which later produced an inch and a half of rain. I had 3 very scared dogs at my feet and I was a little worried when the wind started picking up.
