Gone Voting

No blog today because I’m heading to the polls. I don’t think there will be long lines, but by the time I get to the office it will be time for me to put my nose to the grindstone.

poor excuse – you could have been typing away while you wait in line………

the church across from my house didn’t look all that busy, I’ll go vote at lunch or after work.

  2. Steve says:

I’m with Barb, a lame excuse. Your shirking your duty to your loyal readers be exercising your right to vote… we have rights too, you know!! 🙂

A friend posted on FB that he would be celebrating the election tonight with a drink. If the election turns out like “they” are saying, I’ll be drinking, but it won’t be in celebration.

  3. Yeah, yeah, yeah….

This year more than ever before my ballot was cast and it resembled a piece of paper hit with buckshot from twenty yards. I suppose I shan’t be celebrating regardless then.

The line at my polling place was about fifteen deep when I arrived. If you read my FB updates you know that I’m disgusted that we can’t figure out an efficient way to arrange tables to facilitate faster processing. I guess I don’t have to vote that often…

I was done by 8am and headed over to Super Target to pick up some provisions so that I can start eating lunch “in” more often in an effort to save a couple of bucks and shave a few pounds.

  4. Barb says:

hmmm – crazy old corrupt man against crazy old corrupt man against a guy no one really wants to vote for, since he has no chance of winning. Actually – I thought yesterday, Sonny Perdue doesn’t seem quite so bad right now.

  5. Stacy Fox says:

AMEN, Barb! I did go vote today but both my choices don’t do it for me. (and that’s putting it nicely) We should have wrote-in Sonny. 😉
