Working It

Long, rewarding day at work. Not much else is going on in my life right now.

One For The Nerds

– (void)myDay {

if ([self isAwake])
[self goToWork:addressOffice];
[self workAllDay:writingSoftware];
[self goHome:addressHome];
[self sleep];

This is 1.0ß of my current life algorithm. When I get some time I’ll add eating/drinking methods which I’ve not had time to write.

Note to self: the “code” tag looks horrible using the current CSS for this website and the “blockquote” tag ignores my indentation.

Did I mention this section was for the nerds?

Hey! I Read Listened To A Book!
Alternate section title: “The Truman Show”
About a month a go I put out a request for audiobook suggestions. Eric from GardenFork TV sent me a tweet recommending Truman. Not being a history buff I figured that I could learn about Harry S. Truman by listening to this book — and I was right.

Truman lived a fascinating life during tumultuous times. How Truman came to become President along with the actions he was forced to perform during his tenure as President kept me attentive while driving around this past weekend. Even if you know about Truman you might find listening to this book worthwhile — hell, go nuts and actually read the book if that’s how you get your kicks.

ITP Flickr Pic
I go to Taco Mac primarily for two things — beer, to look at pretty women. Nachos, salsa, and queso are merely a nice bonus in my life.
The City Changes, The Habits Stay The Same
Uh oh, it’s Wednesday and this is the last photo in the queue

What Should I Eat For Top Chef Masters Night?
Let’s assume that I’ll get home by 7:30pm tonight for the 10:00pm showing of Top Chef Masters. What should I eat tonight? Anyone? ITP-Reader Betsy? Anyone?

Okay, Back To Work
See you tomorrow (though I’ll be here checking for comments all day). Have a wonderful Wednesday, friends.

    Shouldn’t there be some sort of “do loop” here? Hard to find good programmers these days.

    The ponies were happy to be in the barn last night as the rains came down is great quantities. I rode my trainer last night and realized that perhaps only riding twice a week isn’t keeping me in shape.

    And did you hear about the new Bin Laden cocktail?
    2 shots and a splash. bu dum dum.

  2. Hehe. Currently it’s an infinite loop.

    I forgot to mention yesterday’s Beer of the Day : Empyrean Brewing Company’s Luna Sea ESB

    just so you all know – my job in transportation moving products via train when there is flooding all over the middle of the country is about to make me scream!!!!!!! My dumb ass customers ask – but when wil the train move? I just so want to answer – Watch the news – when the water isn’t covering the tracks anymore!!!!!!!!!

    sorry – just needed to vent a little.

    Hope everyone is having a better day than me.

  4. Steve says:

    So is the train moving yet?? 🙂

    Remember, just when you make a system idiot proof, they make better idiots.
