Just A Quickie

I’m headed up to Clemson, SC this morning so I don’t have a lot of time for blogging (because why would I want to have everything in order the night before?).

ITP Flickr Pics
Yeah, you read that right — two photos today. You’ve been good…
If you’ve been to the High Museum recently you’ve no doubt seen the parabolic mirror piece. Being a bit of a satellite dish nerd this both intrigued me and failed to impress me at the same time. Nonetheless I took an obligatory self-portrait in front of the piece, using the Nikon D300 as well as the iPhone, and surprise surprise the iPhone version turned out to be more “interesting.”
A Complicated Man

Sometimes I’m a complete sucker for simplicity.
Thing On Left, Seeks Thing On Right
(Psst, don’t tell anyone, but I’ve actually flipped the image. On the wall at the High the woman was on the left and the man on the right. However, when I decided to make this a campaign image for losing my singularity I decided that it would be better flipped. Am I right? Only time will tell.)

Not Walking On Sunshine, But Walking
After work last night I parked the Jackmobile and walked. I walked for approximately an hour and ten minutes through yesterday’s fog, covering approximately 3.6 miles. Not bad. I felt great doing the walk perhaps because of my semi-leisurely pace and wanted to go longer, but in the end I decided that on Day 1 I should be conservative so that I can repeat the process on Day 2, Day 3, etc.

I’ve packed I will be packing some running walking shoes for tonight and talking a stroll around Clemson. Hell, if the timing is right I might also tote my camera and look for some interesting compositions. What a concept!

I’m sure there’s some sort of sophisticated kind of thinking here, but I’m really too simple to figure it out. What does this mean?

    Stacy – I didn’t get it either…..

I’m having a crappy day at work, I sometimes get really tired of people that can NOT pickup a phone, and rely entirely on thier “systems”. I’ve got screwed up loads in 3 different places because of technology that “failed”. 9and a simple phone call could have avoided it all in all 3 cases.

Walking should be good therapy for your hip issues… not that you aren’t hip, but you know what I mean.

And stay away from the co-eds… remain strictly professional!!

In Clemson, career faur starts at boin.

We read from left to right so I wanted the man (me) to be the first thing encountered. When the viewer scans the photo. I nearly left more space on the female to imply a void which I desired filled but decided on a square crop instead.

Steve, if I were desirable by, and had the ability to entertain the co-eds I would be a force with which to be reckoned. Alas I am no threat.

that is way too deep….. I never thought to put that much thought into a bathroom sign.

And to complicate my life further seemingly every attractive woman over the age of thirty here today is sporting a wedding ring. Mur.
