Brand New Month, Same Old Time Constraint

A very late night led to a late morning. I’ve much coding to do today, so the blog shall suffer.

Tomorrow I’ll tell you about:
– Eating at The Elder Tree Public House again (and why I did)
– My lack of organization
– Seeing Shearwater
– A huge revelation in my life
– Why I’ll never have the courage to speak to an attractive young woman again
– My goals for March
– And more

In the meantime, why don’t tell me about last night’s GSLYH, or what you did otherwise.

  1. One thing to which I will admit today is that I am sorry that I sold off some of my Apple stock last year.

  2. Barb says:

lots of people at the hash, ended at George’s, way too crowded to try to do namings in that place. But, it was fun, caught up with soem folks I don’t get to talk to all that often.

I did get a GSLYH name, not really sure what it is, like I said, it was loud. It had something to do with fire.

  3. Steve says:

I won, I won!! Well, I actually never saw the “On In” until I walked out the back door at Georges. As I had done my regular Wednesday routine of taking a nap before the run, I stopped in to Georges to make a pit stop, when I see the hares for the evening. Now knowing the end, and having plenty of time, I took a leisurely walk to the start. Probably a total of 50 hounds would be my rough estimate. A semi-scenic tour of the Beltline, Inman Park, L5P and back towards the ending. While Georges was really too small for the crowd, they did a pretty good job. Sani ran circle from “the balcony” and we had the naming of those that had 5 runs. Some of the more memorable were 4 More Queers (Dr. Do Do), Geriatdick (Sani), Radio Face (TV Hair) and probably the best I heard Cheese Turd (Beaver).

Barb, I never heard what you got, and I know the Boners were pleased with their renaming- apparently they were named last LY and it was really rude.

I’ll be up for a name in 4 years, so put your thinking caps on.

  4. Barb says:

oh yeah -TV’s Face for Radio was hilarious. MC got Easy on the Clutch. Afterbirth came up with both of those- he was on a roll.

  5. Barb says:

just checked FB (i’m going to use this smartphone at work – HA!) and my name is Four Alarm Fire. Not really sure I get it – yeah, I get teh fire part for Allan, but four alarm? But – I don’t mind it either. TLChicken is Leap Frog, can’t remember what Burnt Rubber got. Boner is Sucker…. was DeBoner Lollipop?

  6. Sounds like it was a good time.

  7. Jenka says:

We went to — wait for it — sliders at the Shed! Shocker.

  8. Jenka, you remind me that I need to visit The Shed more often. Just because the EAV is getting some new digs doesn’t mean that I can’t spread my love far and wide (to Glenwood Park).
