Whew, life is moving too fast. It hasn’t helped that I’ve added an hour of exercise back into my routine as well. On the positive side I did get to watch The Year Without A Santa Claus this morning.
Last night’s final German class was good; the only weird thing about the night is that when we returned to our classroom my bottle of Glühwein was missing! It was stolen! (there’s very subtle German joke in that last sentence) I can only assume that they added my bottle to the stash served at the happy hour. It wasn’t an expensive bottle of Glühwein, so I wasn’t too upset.
Tonight I will be gluttonous again, eating dinner with the Sterns of Roadfood and The Splendid Table fame. This night’s dinner was not cheap, though it does include a signed copy of the Stern’s latest book. Of course I’ll write about this meal tomorrow. Stay tuned. 🙂
After dinner I am going to attempt to knock out writing all of my Christmas cards.

Did I mention we now have the Heat Miser & Freeze Miser tree ornaments now? Allan was very happy, that is his favorite Christmas show. We may try to be them for Halloween some year.
Tonight is the “balls” food party – I have all the fixins to make pizza balls – I hope they come out ok.
I learned something about the Sterns recently, but I can’t remember where… they were married for a not insignificant length of time (> 10 years), got divorced, but are still writing partners. Odd, huh?
The “final” meeting of the Games for the year. Got to spread around our “earnings” to various Scottish type organizations, as per our bylaws. We also voted on a new slate of officers and I was elected VP. Just a little more on my plate.
Home by 11, on the bus at 5:45 (decided that instead of driving in, I could use the extra Z’s).

Heat Meiser and Snow Meiser are the best (who *can’t* sing the entire song? it’s a classic!). I remember back in the 2004 election year thinking WOAH. The Heat Meiser looks like Bush and the Snow Meiser like Kerry. (It’s true…go look!) Though I’m more of a warm weather type of girl, but unarguably the Snow Meiser’s a nicer guy.
