So This Is Blogging

And what have you done, another year over, and a new one just begun.

Wait a minute, that doesn’t make sense!

I’m super-duper busy again and looking forward eating a tasty Tasty China dinner tonight with ITP-Readers Stacy and Barb.

Okay, back to work… 🙁

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Sorry we can’t join you for TC tonight. Busy busy trying to get ready for some holiday I hear is fast approaching.

While you are busy at work, this is actually a pretty slow time for us. Just a few projects happening, so lots of time to find other things to do. I got side tracked yesterday looking at my old neighborhood in Birmingham. You can still see old streetcar tracks and I went down the rabbit hole of trying to find where they ran.

Upon arriving home last night, Jack had some animal part he was gnawing on. When I managed to wrestle it from him, it was the head, complete with 6 point rack. That boy… I hope the trash man isn’t startled when he opens the can.

Tasty China….yaaaaay! And, hey, any other ITP reader is welcomed to join us as well if you want. This started with meeting Barb for a loan of a tacky Christmas sweater; so nice it turned into dinner with friends as well. 🙂 Bamboo fish! Crispy pork feet! (er…no.)

I’ve been needing a fix for a while now- Debbie said I could go, but she would kill me when I came home. We’re going Christmas day, so I have that to look forward to.

  4. Barb says:

yep – its a Tasty China kind of night.
I’ve got some good tacky/ugly sweaters for Stacy to look at for a work thing, so we decided dinner should be involved. Bummer we can’t bring beverages anymore, but I’ve been drinking plenty this holiday season so far, it will not kill me to take a night off.

I attempted (& failed) trying to make some caramel things last night, there is a reason I cook & don’t bake. No idea what I did wrong, but it was a waste of time. I should have read the comments online before I ever started.

Trying to figure out some sort of gift(s) for TJ & Mary, any suggestions?
My parents will be here, but I’ve told them they are getting “experiences” from us, so we will not be exchanging presents. So far a play on Tuesday, massages on Wednesday & a Marietta Square Food tour on Saturday. (if I know my Dad, he will try to pay me back for some of it, but that’s ok)

its slow as hell for me at work (finally) so I’m trying to figure out things to read online to keep busy.

Ha! I may be back there on Christmas Day too, Steve! Already decided to “go Jewish” that day so Yassir (had to include a Jew of course) and I made plans for Chinese food consumption that day. We haven’t decided where yet…but it almost seems wrong to eat Chinese food anywhere else than Tasty China.

  6. Steve says:

You’re on. It will be lunch, as we have to go play nice with my family in the afternoon…

  7. Barb says:

I don’t know if my parents will be up for Chinese on Christmas – but you just never know……… and I’m sure TJ & Mary would play along.
    We will see.

    You will thank me later
