  1. Steve, I am going to have to take a (literal) rain check on today’s walk.

  2. Barb says:

    is it raining???
    not raining in Marietta.

Went to Love Never Dies – its no Phantom of the Opera, but it was entertaining enough. Went to Edgars P & P in the basement of the Georgian Hotel for a snack before, cool little place. Very small menu, I like that. Waitress showed up just when we needed another beer. They have $2 Miller High Life Ponys. Beer never gets warm that way.

  3. Steve says:

    OK, no walkies for you!

It was odd driving home yesterday. Around the office and most of the way South, the sun had finally burned through the fog and it was a nice day. About exit 51 (hi Head Nurse and EM) the fog settled back in and it was that way all the way home. Debbie said it had never gotten clear around the house all day. Weird.

    Happy Friday to me!

  4. Barb says:

Allan gets to work a Luke Combs concert at the Tabernacle tonight – country guy, that actually sounds country – as least the few songs I know.
So, I’m single – I should do something fun, or at least run some errands, but I’m pretty sure I’ll clean out my DVR.

  5. Barb says:

Oh yeah – so Allan tells me the Hyox Christmas party has a Hawaiian theme.
I’m thinking – I have NOTHING to wear Hawaiian. (I know, I’m a terrible Parrothead)
So – I go to Value Village yesterday at lunch – I do not want to spend a bunch of money on this idea. Did you know last Wednesday of the month is all clothes half price? It was a madhouse. But – since I was there, I looked around, and actually found a dress. Its more rainforest Hawaiian, but still – close enough. $3.40. I can live with that.

  6. Debbie Brady says:

My official first day at work got pushed to Monday. Yay for one more pants-less Friday.

Between the job and the horses being at a barn with lots of other folks, my solo time is taking a huge hit. Hope I remember how to act right. 😂

  7. My first task when I return ITP next week is to schedule a thorough physical. I feel as if my health has taken a serious decline this year and it’s unnerving me.

    • ITP Lurker says:

There’s a correlation here. You’re always harshing on and about your body, so it’s responding in kind.

      • Nope, not following you on that theory.

        • Steve says:

I think Lurker is saying to put a positive mental attitude in play and you’ll feel better.

          • ITP Lurker says:

Indeed. Thank you for the assist, Steve. Paulie, it makes sense that didn’t compute for you. I’ve been in that place. Self-care? What the hell is that? Mental energy is like a soccer ball, it’s going in the direction you kick it. Keep kicking a dark cloud along, and your body will follow. Conversely, kick up some happiness, you may be surprised. You can do this. You just have to want to.
