It’s so easy to be a bum and sleep late on these cold days. Today I am a bum.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 209.8 pounds (+2.4 from last week’s weigh-in); disappointing considering how much exercise and restraint from overeating I had last week.

137.5 (+1 / goal 125). Ugh! As soon as my Thanksgiving leftovers are gone that will help…

Just dropped Willow cat off at the vet. She’s not eating and vomiting. It’s a recurring thing with her it seems. It’s been a UTI in the past. We shall see. She’s also just a finicky eater in general. I hate dropping her off and leaving her there, but that’s the only type of appointment that I could get today.

  2. Leaving for work now (finally). Not sure why though as traffic looks like utter shit.

  3. Steve says:

I heard of traffic yesterday with 285 North closed on the East side with 4 tractor trailers mixing it up, and apparently a couple of FedEx trucks up 75 doing the same. ‘Tis the season!!

So we wanted to switch to our streaming dongle on the TV last night and the cable box piped up and said you can’t do that unless you connect me to the internet. I was confused and annoyed that it had taken control of the inputs of our TV. With a little bit of powering off and on certain pieces, we were able to stream, but now I’m pissed.

As a former employee of the industry, would you care to comment?

    • The industry is full of dicks, but you knew that already…

The consumer lost control when we went to digital inputs which can run software.

I wonder if they got all the packages back in a FedEx truck.
Speaking of FedEx – I think I need to order a case of wine from hook & Ladder, they has a 50% off sale, with $10 shipping. I have all week for their cyber Monday sale.

I need to quit eating so much – but I hae zero will power.

Speaking of eating, went to a friends house for dinner – she is Hungarian, and has been tellin gus about her favorite dish for years. So she finally had time & made us one of her favorite dishes – Chicken Paprikas (or something like that). Its served with a sauce (they called it juice) over a spaetzle. it was quite tasty. And a cucumber salad.

  5. Today is “Giving Tuesday” (www.gagives.org), so if your budget permits today might be a good day to donate to your favorite organization(s).

  6. Barb says:

HoPo & I are thinking about hiking Mount Yonah on Saturday.
    anyone ever been up there?

    • Huh, I have never even heard of it (to the best of my memory).

See also: Smithgall Woods State Park which is apparently very close to it.

      • Barb says:

I’ve heard of it – but never been up there.
Rode our bikes around that area on BRAG one year, Sharon & I went to Babyland General to see where Cabbage Patch kids come from while we were there.
