On what could be Atlanta’s last bitterly cold day of the season I wonder whose head, if any, my favorite lost knit hat is keeping warm today.

I lost my favorite Nike ball cap sometime in the last year – I keep thinking it will turn up, but it never has.
Most hats I don’t feel fit my head right.

All packed – just gotta work until noon, then waste time & fly out at 6pm.

A possible silver lining is you have helped the homeless.

early flights delayed into SFO (2 of our friends were going to hang in the city today)
they were supposed to depart 10am, now its 1300.
hopefully later flights will be on time.

Thanks to ITP-Reader Stacy and a couple other friends, I’m going to start signing up for marketing surveys / focus groups in order to potentially earn some extra cash. Covering some of my “extracurricular expenses” may help keep me out of (as much) trouble at home 😂😂😂.

    • I have participated in surveys for Atlanta Outloud; in fact I just filled out a survey yesterday to see if I qualify for some marketing research. I was going to ask you if you were interested the next time we met.

Doooo iiiit! Easiest $200 ever yesterday (plus free lunch!). 🙂 And it was fun too.

Still feeling puny. This crap needs to end as I have another race to work this weekend (from the moto this time).

A freezer raid for dinner last night as both loaves of bread were moldy! I wouldn’t even give it to the dogs. Pork dumplings and shrimp corn chowder! Winner!!

Barb, have a great time, and maybe take an umbrella.

My hair doesn’t care if it gets wet….. I hate umbrellas. My rain jacket has a hood if I need it.
All the flights have been delayed, but the one a couple hours before ours is only 1 hour delayed, ours still says on time. Keeping our fingers crossed 6pm we leave.

I’m with you, Barb, I rarely use umbrellas. And I tend to lose them pretty quickly when I do. Same for sunglasses.

Good luck with your flight. You’re reminding me why I tend to always aim for the first flight out on a given day when possible, greatly reduces the chances for things to have gone sideways yet.

    Promising Beltline news: https://atlanta.curbed.com/2019/3/5/18251494/silver-comet-trail-extension-cobb-county-beltline

If this comes about and they connect the Beltline to the Silver Comet Trail, I’ll totally have to make sure I don’t get in over my head on bike rides, or else pack camping gear to be safe. 🙂
