Did a little hashing yesterday and managed to anger some property owners again. This time it was a little less clear to me why they were angry. Hashing keeps getting harder to do in this area of the country.

Today is Black Sheep Founders Day. So, I might try again tonight, even though the price for tonight’s hash is $20(!) because “your first three beers and food are provided”.

While $20 on a weekend for 3 beers and food would be fine, I don’t think I would get 3 beers on a school night.

Saturday, the race in Brooks went well. I was a bit spread out from being chief and trying to moto as well. When I got home Saturday evening, I was exhausted and felt like I had been beaten. I guess riding at that slow a pace for that long took more than I was expecting.

Yesterday, I attempted to cut the grass. I got the mower started (surprised!) and started cutting, but it quickly died and would not resurrect. Dragged it back to the shop with the tractor and put it on the charger. We’ll see.

Had to turn down a sweet assignment in Birmingham this weekend. A first year event with good money, but we already have tickets to the Hunt Ball Saturday evening. Foo.

    • Yep. Bonnie and I were talking about that place last week.

Allan can’t believe that place is finally opening.
And…. he gets a call this weekend that the firehouse is getting renovated, and they have to have their stuff out by Monday (tonight). We don’t get back until Tuesday night. They’ve been talking about this renovation forever, but couldn’t give the guys more than 1 shift notice? Gotta love the City…..

  3. Well poop, add “paying a lot more money in taxes this year” to my list of increased expenses. Bye bye, Germany. 😢 See you next year? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • Barb says:

I feel your pain…… I’m considering paying a quarterly amount to lessen the blow next year.

Speaking of beer…. went to Bear Republic after wine tasting yesterday. Not bad beer, I guess they only distribute Racer 5 to GA. Allan bought a cool bike jersey.

    3 days of barrel tasting is over…. day 1, 11 wineries, day 2, 9 wineries, day 3, 7 wineries.
I didn’t join any wine clubs, but did buy a few cases of futures. And some none futures that will be shipping. I’ll look at my credit card statement at some point to see the damage. Weather was ok Friday, rainy as hell Saturday, and not too bad Sunday.

Today we head to San Francisco, and then come home tomorrow.,
