Tough trail last night, per usual Bonnie and I were nearly DFLs. Not as per usual I fell twice, the first time jamming one of the fingers on my right hand; while not broken the finger is stiff and swollen today.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 211.6 pounds (+0.4 from last week’s weigh-in); not surprising given the amount of pizza I shoved into my face after trail.

I made myself a statistic yesterday by calling out of work. Isn’t that what people do the Monday after the DST change? 😉 I woke up, thought: nope. And went back to bed. Well, really, to couch. Where I dozed off and on all day and watched a bunch of TV shows.

Great weekend though. Lots of photos for the Instagram. Saw an old friend I haven’t seen in 26 years and took in my first game at the Benz. Even marched in with the Footie Mob supports group. What a blast!

Stacy, if I’d have know you were playing hooky, I’d have called you for lunch!

The Wells Fargo branch at 999 (right across the street) has closed. This was not a surprise. I’m afraid the ATM will no longer accept checks for deposit, and if that’s the case, I’ll have to review my accounts with them. For some reason, the BBT down the street (our other bank) couldn’t read the check I was depositing, so I still needed the branch.

The mower started last night, with a little assist. I think it was just stuck from being unused all winter.

Started watching Sherlock Holmes from the BBC. A modern adaptation and very well done. Made 40+ minutes on the bike go by quickly.

Oooh I should have thought of that too, Steve! Next time. 🙂

As for depositing checks, ever try to do it from your phone? The last few times I got checks it worked wonderfully that way. No having to run to a bank or ATM.

I’m in the middle of converting from my antique Galaxy 4 to Debbie’s hand-me-down Galaxy 7. I’ll see if WF offers such a service. I’m pretty sure BBT doesn’t.

And maybe we can get together for lunch at Peachtree Center sometime soon.

It’ll change your life to deposit checks by phone. I wish I could do that with my business account. Fortunately I mostly get paid electronically, so I don’t have to make my way to a bank branch nearly as often as I used to.

Don’t forget Rosa’s lunch next month is coming up on the horizon.

    • The Benedict Cumberbach (sp) “Sherlock Holmes”? Love those, but most at 90 minutes, which I find hard to commit to watching.

Ugg, seems all of my Wells Fargo branches are closing. I deposit checks via mobile (it’s awesome) but sometimes need an ATM.

I wouldn’t recognize him, but that’s what Debbie said. I recognize Dr. Watson as the guy in the porn videos from “Love Actually”!! So far, I think I’ve solved the crime in the first episode, but I’m only halfway through.

      • Funny, I recognized him, Martin Freeman, from the original “The Office” as well as the remake of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”.

  3. Eating a very late (for me) breakfast. Must have been all of that pizza…

  4. Also not per usual I think after the amount of money I was told that I owe this year I am going to do a quick calculation on my own and see if I come out the same. I know she’s the professional, but I don’t understand how I can owe so much more in taxes.

It’s most likely a combination of your withholding going down (because Republicans wanted to give a sugar high to everyone) paired with elimination or reduction of deductions (sugar crash).

Hanging at SFO, the Delta terminal is small, now much in choices for food. Had chicken & waffles, not bad but not good.
Flight looks to be on time, and my body clock has gotten used to west coast time, getting up tomorrow for work will suck!

Gorgeous weather in San Fran yesterday, walked around, damn that place has steep hills!
