Having too much fun, time to stop the insanity — see below.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 215.8 pounds (+3.6 from last week’s weigh-in); inconceivable! This this is the heaviest I’ve been since early 2018. 😢

    Der Kummerspeck!

    • Indeed.

Finally caught up on yesterday’s comments.
      Ride Saturday? Sure.
Thanks for the insightful real estate posting, I’ll be keeping an eye out for its sale.

I know you’re not planning to liquidate the ITP estate, but I feel it’s always useful to know what the walk-away price is for contingency purposes. Also useful in determining what you can earn back if you make improvements.

  2. In weird news, my computer’s battery was at 1% this morning. I’m sure I put it away with almost 80% on Saturday, so I am not sure what’s going on.

    • ITP Lurker says:

Depends how old your computer is. My battery has been at 1% as of late and won’t hold any charge. But it’s also old enough to warrant this. At some point I’m going to have to grit my teeth and migrate to the Windows 10 computer I bought last year. At least my procrastination pattern extends the life of each new computer I get. There is that.

    • It’s a 2014 MacBook Air, so it wouldn’t be completely unexpected. However, util today it has done a decent job of maintaining battery charge. Could be a new software app I installed is the culprit. If this behavior continues I’ll remove the new app and see if the battery life improves.

My Windows computer is about that same vintage, so your battery’s days are likely numbered either way. Nothing wrong with eking it out as long as possible, I’m in the same boat.

Please keep an eye on that real estate. While they did a nice job in the remodel (if you like snow blindness), I think they are reaching for the moon with that price.

Finished putting the Nerf bars on the scooter last night (I have been admonished by another rider in calling them crash bars). Apparently, the previous owner used them enough that they needed “persuasion” to be remounted.

BIBLICAL rain this morning, which stopped as soon as I entered Coweta Co.! Then some sort of incident about halfway to Moreland- appeared no traffic was moving past the blue lights (never a good sign) and I took the back way to the interstate.

Games meeting tonight then a comp day tomorrow, which will have me getting new shoes for the Mazda. yippee.

A weight spike usually happens on “vacation”, which you are effectively on… Regardless, no time like the present to recalibrate.

Allan got the kitchen started, we have framing and no window into the garage from the table area. tomorrow & Friday he will frame the area from the kitchen to the mud room – we keep wanting to shut the door from the kitchen to the mud room, but with no wall – why? just habit……..
I got the fun of pulling some tongue & groove paneling off the wall – damn that builder liked nails, and long nails – but I finally got it all off.
there’s a few pictures on FB.
I need to get the top cabinets empty by the weekend – working on finding boxes…….. and a way to organize it all so I we aren’t eating off paper plates, etc until we have to.

  6. What a wonderful few days with my longest-time friend Tamara. We lunched today at Mary Mac’s Tea Room. I ate too much and am ready for a detox…
