Good time hanging out with Betsy last night. It was my turn to cook so I did a play on this Instant Pot Vegan Cauliflower Tikka Masala recipe; I added tofu and garbanzo beans to it. Most of the flavor can be contributed to the two jars of Kroger Tikka Masala sauce (Glenwood Kroger was sold out of the other brand, and I got the last two jars of Kroger brand!) that I dumped into the Instant Pot after baking the cauliflower and tofu. We also ate some garlic naan that I had purchased from Aldi.

Today’s mystery pain is at the base of my right thumb. The pain started last night, I have no idea what I did, if anything, to cause it.

Looking forward to getting some exercise today with Bonnie.

From yesterday: Bonnie, are you sure the AC is conked instead of just needing a refresh? I thought mine had gone and brought it to the mechanic last year (had a big road trip approaching and was not about to do it without AC!) and turns out it just needed more freon or whatever the heck that stuff is that ACs need. Hopefully it’s something simple like that instead?

A colleague has been raving about a Cuban food truck he’s frequented and we all discovered yesterday it’ll be at Colony Square today. So we’re Ubering up around noon. Allll the way up into Midtown. 😉 We can do pretty easy math and 4 people sharing a $10 UberX is a way better steal than MARTA. Plus, that way our lazy, empanada-eatin’ asses don’t have to get any exercise at all. Haha. In the area, come on out!

I went to check out the Marietta Square Food Market last night – lots of food “booths”. I had a bulgogi rice bowl – it was tasty. Joanna has some street tacos. They had beer & margaritas at the street taco place, so that was a bonus. Not sure how many vendors have a liquor license.

Cabinet install is now going to be Saturday all day!! No one remembered to tell TJ it wasn’t going to be today – ooops. (but not my fault)

  3. Building just had a fire drill and I managed to pass on the reward of a free Chick-fil-A biscuit! I don’t know who I am anymore…

Just coming up for air after a busy morning trying not to get burnt by fires coming in all directions!

Yesterday’s plan of exercise and lawn mowing was thwarted by a light rain. My trainer got the dust blown off for a half hour. Who knew you could use them in the (8 days away from) Summer.

Apparently, we aren’t going horse shopping this weekend as no one is available. That would mean I could be in Marietta to hang kitchen cabinets, if needed.

you are CRAZY Steve – but, I’ll let you know.
I think we have to go to Mableton Saturday morning to help Bill load them up, and his not able bodied assistant (son) has other things to do.

I think I’m going to the Iron Pour at the Elliott Street Ppub Friday night, Allan will be at Station 1, so I think I can sneak an easy free parking place, if they have any open spots.
