Today’s medical appointment is a stress test. You know what increases one’s stress? Thinking about having to do a stress test. The test is this afternoon, so by orders I have been, and must continue to, abstain from caffeine intake until then, and completely fast for the four hours leading up to the test.

Stress test of what? Don’t you already stress enough? Good luck.

Shoulda/coulda/woulda worked out last night but it’s so F’ing hot. Thought about a run after dark but the recliner had a good grip on me.

Nice sprint by Peter Sagan yesterday. Kind of a twisty run to the finish, but he managed to work through and then just leave everyone in the dust. Clean wheels at the line.

“Don’t you already stress enough?” LOL

If it makes you feel any better, I just had to schedule a mammogram this morning. Getting old is FUN! 😉

ITP readers if you get a wild hare (hair? heir? herr? haha) …. Highland Tap has been celebrating their birthday all week and some friends and I are going tonight. You hashers will know Frank (Royal F). $5 martinis, manhattans, $2 beers, 1/2 price wine bottles, eats, and a complimentary wine/apps “hour” from 5-6:30. We’ll be there by 5:30. 🙂 Please come join us if you can, even if just to pop in and wait out Atlanta traffic!

here’s my stress test for the next day or so –
    1. countertops are supposed to be installed tomorrow morning.
    2. leaving to go camping at Margaritavlle Lake Lanier right after.
    3. gotta get packed & ready to go (& have the kitchen all ready)
4 our friends Gregg & Deb just got kicked out of the campground for not having a “good enough” camper -I guess a A-Liner is a trailer, and they don’t allow those???
5 I talked to them on the phone, they said they don’t allow pop-ups – BUT I don’t see that anywhere on the website- and ours doesn’t pop up, but it does pop out. So -will they reject us when we get there? It does say on the website campers must be less than 10 years old -ours is a 2010. I idn’t even want to ask if ours is ok.

    • Steve says:

Campers must be less than 10 years old? WTF, O?

    • Guaranteed that I will never have to worry about camping there. I want to go camping to get away from all of the rules!

      • Barb says:

        way too many rules!
I found 2 beds for us for Friday night, in other people’s rooms, just in case, so we should be fine to not get kicked out now!
hotel & villas & lakehouses are completely booked for Friday night.

Eating fried chicken, some boss is here from Chicago, bought us lunch, no one would decide, so I decided -Bojangles! Just sounded good.

  3. Barb says:

and now – countertops are getting installed THIS AFTERNOON!
I need to run home & clean up everything I was going to do tonight.
