As days go, yesterday was fair.

My cardiologist appointment went as expected in that I have scheduled another appointment to have another expensive test run to figure out what’s going on with me.

My dental visit went better, the worst of that was getting reprimanded for not doing a better job at flossing.

Having major battery and recharging issues with my old iPhone SE and a trip looming for which I will not have a companion whose phone works, or who is willing to futz with mine to get it to charge, I joined the “let’s own a really expensive phone” club and got on Apple’s lease-to-own plan. I’m now rocking a latest-version-for-the-next-month iPhone XS. Did I commit to a phone that will outlive me? I certainly hope not…

    You’ll outlive your phone… by a LOT. 🙂 You’d better or I’ll kill you. Oh wait… 🤔

Willow cat’s visit to the internal medicine specialist yesterday went about as I expected too. LOTS of money spent and still don’t have concrete answers, although there is still one test to run although it won’t give definitive answers. As for her lack of appetite and vomiting, she may have a minor case of IBD in her small intestine, or perhaps allergies. No answers on her recurring UTIs. On anti-nausea and appetite stimulant medications, which were administered poorly this morning. *Sigh*.

    This is a test comment

    Test comment.

  4. For those of you who are confused, Bonnie tried to leave a comment and encountered a problem. The test comments were posted to see if the problem persists.

so – come on Bonnie = where’s the comment?

      • ITP Lurker says:

Barb, there’s a more expensive test comment that they’re waiting to get the results back on first… 😉

      • Bonnie says:

I tried to answer your comment earlier and it didn’t post either!

      • Bonnie says:

I just told Paulie that he would outlive his phone, and talked about how my cat Willow went to a specialist yesterday, we spent a lot of money, and we still don’t have concrete answers. Oh, and one more test is on the horizon that still won’t provide a definitive answer but it could (or could not) point in a certain direction. *Sigh*

You know your phone will not outlive you………. they are designed to fail in some odd way within a few years. (or that is what I think)
going to the XS is gonna be a huge change – and then you can teach me about it- since I only have the 8.

I have decided Netflix & Amazon Prime and anything you can binge watch TV shows on is going to be the downfall of our society (or at least for people). I had things to do, but decided watching the entire last season of Orange is the New Black was more important over the past few days. And – I don’t even “really” like the show, but I don’t give up on shows, even when I should, so wanted to see how they ended it. But -its over now, I just can’t start watching something else.

    • I guess I am seeking medical help to better my odds? I have to learn all of the features that have changed in the past few years.

With a larger iPhone some of my accessories need to be replaced. Mo money, mo money… 🤑

What’s funny about my viewing is that I am routinely rewatching series that I have completed.

we realized we were re-watching a season of Bosch this weekend, but we couldn’t remember how it ended, so we are still watching. Soon we will watch the newest season.
Gotta buy a Amazon Fire Stick soon, since the Sony TV folks have decided ourt TV is too old to keep supporting the app.

(and I do have to say I like the Netflix app on the TV much better than the Amazon one)

Lurker, you are my hero! Thank you!

    • Bonnie says:

Barb, I’ve watched 3 episodes of the final season of OITNB. I agree it isn’t as good anymore but I want to see what happens too… And, I also really needed to be doing chores instead LOL.

      • ITP Lurker says:

I thought OINTB sagged in the middle seasons, but to me the final season was as good as the first season.

  6. Steve says:

I certainly hope your phone does not outlive you.

Stage 1 is in the books. A couple crashes, with only one rider not returning to the race that I’m aware of. Off to somewhere else in Utah for another start shortly. Mountaintop finish today.

I wasn’t sure about the iPhone 10 until I got one. Man I love this phone! Face ID for your password for all apps is just great, so many features that just work so well.

  8. Lurker is back! 😂

  9. Bonnie, not sure why, but all of those that didn’t post wound up in the virtual trash. I have no idea why. Sorry about that.

I restored one version each of yor multiple attempts.
