Two days of reccying complete, Glory Mole and I have a trail for this coming Saturday. Those who do our trail should be thankful we weren’t forced to use the territory we trudged through on Saturday as it was very Black Sheepy. 😈

Reconditioned rim is on the M6 and rolling smoothly.

I may do Moonlite tonight, but I am very sore and could use a night of rest. I also have a lot of chores to complete. We’ll see…

Bike ride Friday, good but short. Motorcycle ride Saturday, wandered around and still not quite sure where I was. Pretty country, though. Saturday afternoon, Debbie went over to somewhere in Alabama and found a donkey! OK, not quite found, but located and will be coming home at some point. We managed to cobble together an enclosure within our normal pasture space using dog pen sections and hot wire. Now to build/buy some sort of shelter for her- name of Minnie Pearl.

Saturday evening, we met friends at “Knife and Stone” for drinks and dinner. Can’t afford that very often but damn, it was good. Debbie’s “slab o’ meat” topped with a crab cake was delicious, as were my scallops.

Cardiology follow up this afternoon. Hopefully good news there.

Paulie I was channeling your tire woes yesterday. Coming home from camping in NC out of the corner of my eye I saw some debris I thought I ran over. It wasn’t something I ran over, it was my tire shredding. Next thing I know BOOM goes my camper tire.
Changing a tire on the side of I-85 is not a fun experience.

    • Ugh, sorry to hear that. I’m glad that I didn’t have to change my own tire. I can, I’m just glad I didn’t have to do so.

Bob – we know exactly what you went thru – except ours didn’t explode.
We had to actually leave the camper on the side of the road, go get a lug wrench that would work (I guess the one that came with the camper disappeared?) and the spare needed a little extra air too. Now we have everything we need to do this sort of thing on the side of the road.

I am your secret co-hare for Moonlight tonight. It will not be rough. It will be fun. You’ll get to see something you’ve never seen before and never will again. And I know you’ll like the end. 🙂
