It’s Apple iPhone Announcement Day; I miss the years when this was a highly-anticipated event.

Good time spent with Bonnie last night as we checked out places for her trail next Monday night.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 215.0 pounds (oh boy, 😢) (+2.8 from last week’s weigh-in); I’m doing something, if not many things, wrong. 🐀🐀🐀

We took Mac to his new, perhaps temporary home last night. Mary Carol was glad to see him and she said he looked great (which he does). She had him previously, and after some necessary downsizing, we got him. As we explained to her, we’d much rather he have a job instead of just sitting on the payroll not doing anything, but if he needs to come back, he would be welcome.

We’re off on Sunday to get one of his replacements. We had planned on picking up both horses- one from KY and one from TN, but with Debbie unable to ride for the foreseeable future, we didn’t want her to forget what the trainer has been teaching her. Just the one from near Lexington.

Weekly Games meetings start tonight. yippee.

Sorry Paulie, we will both try harder! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Today Willow cat starts steroids to “treat” her suspected IBD. I don’t like it but we’ll see how it goes. She also is supposed to eat zero-carb food, and so far she doesn’t like most of the store-bought versions. I soon may be trying to cook homemade cat food.

I went to the hash last night, Deposit convinced me to bimbo & hang with her & Sani (didn’t take too much arm twisting).
I guess there was a homeowner(with a dog) that slowed part of the pack down for a time- but Double Suck used her charm & convinced him the easiest thing was to just let everyone go on their way (on his property).
Pool was cold, air was hot, Venison lasagna was tasty. not too bad of a crowd, about 15 or so.

    • I’m glad I didn’t go if people got stopped on someone’s private property. It’s getting difficult to find public space, but equally difficult to continue to apologize for trespassing.

      • Barb says:

he wasn’t really mad we were told, just very confused.
But yes – its tough to find anywhere to go anymore with out being on someone’s property. (especially in East Cobb)

  4. Excellent lunch with my friend, and former boss, Hank today. We did a little bit of walking and boy howdy it’s scorching outside.

    • Barb says:

      hi Hank!
where does he work these days?
      near you?

    • Yeah. Up until a few months ago he worked for a company at 17th and Spring St. Now he works for Eaton, which is headquartered around 3rd and Spring St.

Today we met halfway(ish), roughly 8th and Peachtree, eating at Cafe Agora. I couldn’t resist a gyro, so today is a meat day.

If you stay under the shade of the trees/buildings, it’s not too bad. Did a lap around the block.

I plan on running at lunch once the heat breaks… be forewarned, you might have to join me.
