You know, I have never had a trail that I laid get washed away / canceled, tonight might be a first for me. I’ll have to keep an eye on the weather…

My iOS woes continue. On Saturday my new Apple Watch disconnected from the iPhone to which it is paired. I tried everything I could think to do prior to unpairing it fro the iPhone and starting again, but yesterday I made that leap. And then, that leap encountered an error! Now I am left with a watch that can’t communicate with the iPhone and an iPhone that can’t pair with the watch. Today I will attempt to reset the AppleWatch, and if that goes horribly wrong will make an appointment at the Apple Store for the next appointment after today.

Also, as if that weren’t enough, the weather and roof leak has finally gotten to a point that’ll have me hiring someone to do repairs once this rainy week has ended.

Oh.
Joy.

Happy Monday!

Roof leak? That’s not fun. And I hope you can get your trail in tonight.

I was thinking the other day how my old iPad seems to be just chugging along, though battery life seems to be slowly dying.

I was VERY pleased with my ride yesterday- 31 miles in under 2 hours. I was about halfway through and was starting to tank a bit, but drank some water and soldiered on. I say pleased until I read on FB that Joanna and Muffin were out doing centuries (!!). F’ing overachievers. I also dusted off the scooter and may have exceeded the speed limit for just a few seconds- into triple digits.

We pulled the trigger Saturday on some “landscaping”- gravel and sand around the barn where it has been an absolute swamp. The guy seemed to think there was enough natural slope to not need additional pipe. I hope he’s right.

    • Keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t be an overly expensive repair since it’s on the outside corner of the carport, with nothing bu empty space above it. I wish that I could do the work myself, but I have no skills.

Steve – JoAnna only rode 50 or so – and – she has an E Bike now.

      • Steve says:

I considered her half- century overachieving as well, but now that I know she’s using an E-bike, she just moved into the ranks of poser. If she really wants to hang with the husband, they need to get a tandem!

  2. Have reset, and am currently syncing watch and phone. So far, so good?

  3. Oh and after a long day of reccying, then having a couple of beers at the new Reformation Brewery in Smyrna, Bonnie and I ate a ton of delicious food at Tasty China on Saturday. If this had occurred around a normal meal time, we were there around 3pm, I would have put up the Bat Signal to see if there were any takers.

    • barb says:

3pm actually would have been perfect for us yesterday, we both said about that time – aren’t you hungry?
we had had a fairly large breakfast.

    • Steve says:

Damnit! I’ve been jonesing for some TC, as well as some OKC!! We need to get something on the calendar.

Regifting party was a success, got rid of some crap & didn’t come home with too much!
I got a cute wine glass, and gave away the liquor that was in the same box.
Allan got some socks, and I can’t remember what else.

Went to Enema’s to watch the Packers last night – they won which is always good for a party centered around a team.
