Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 199.8 pounds (-1.8 from last week’s weigh-in). WHAAAAT?!?! I am never returning to office life!!! 🙄

Yes, I normally end the blog post with this information but c’mon, the scale read less than 200 pounds this morning!

Even better, I took yesterday as a rest day and did very little more than spend hours watching Apple announcements. Of course the biggest non-surprise surprise announcement Apple made yesterday is that they are moving away from Intel CPUs to those designed in house, temporarily called “Apple Silicon”. I guess I will defer a new laptop purchase for a while longer.

As time permits this week I will be watching some of the videos released that go in depth about the software changes to be expected later this year.

That’s all for now, I have to start doing the things I ignored yesterday.

Hope you are all doing well.

    Wow Paulie!!! *Fist buuuuuuuump* 🙂
Not nearly as exciting, but I am at 124 (-2.5 from last week’s weigh in).

  2. Odd, for years my house number has been obscured by a bush I whacked down last month. The 3 has been hanging upside down for many years and when I looked at it today it was turned right side up. I wonder if one of the mover dudes did this while they were waiting for me to answer the door?

Note to self: add “clean/fix address while not going to office”.

When is the last time the scale dipped below 200 lbs.? Aside, weekend beer drinking and Tasty China must be the key to weight loss! 🙌🏻

    • I don’t know because I stopped keeping track for a long time.

Maybe my body rejected the scant bit of TC meat I ate on Friday night to help the weight loss process. LOL

Well done Paulie! I would love to say I am close behind, but I have been swinging between 210 and 206, which seems to be the latest normal. Of course, you have an advantage of going veggie, which is easier to keep weight off. Now beer, on the other hand…

Instead of riding after work, the stump of the tree I could down needed removal. After digging out around the trunk, using the maddox and chain saw on the roots I could get at, and a little help from the tractor- the damn thing wouldn’t budge. I called it a draw and will remount my effort today. And just in case you wondered, swinging a maddox is an aerobic workout.

Otherwise, all quiet on the southern front.

    • Thanks. I’m trying to decide how I can get some exercise in today given some of the time constraints I have. I want to keep the needle moving downward if possible.

Don’t delay any new Apple HW purchase too long.
Apple: “There are more Intel-based products in the pipeline…”
(Apple Silicon products are “years out…” Unless you go the DTK Mac Mini with A12Z processor route.)

    Apple WWDC trivia:
Q: “How many Apple WWDC presenters were….Black?”

A: Just one (Dr. Yah Yah Cosson (MD) graduate of Morehouse and the University of Maryland.)

    • When the time is right I’ll upgrade my hardware.

People have complained about a lack of diversity. While yesterday’s keynote may have had one black man, it also had women, Asians, a person in a fancy-pants wheelchair, etc. It’s clear that Apple had an agenda and checklist to ensure that no one, except slovenly old white men, was omitted.
