Brrrrrr. It’s cold this morning…

Yesterday was an interesting day, not only did I get stung on the neck by a bee, I decided that I was not interested in going to the hash, so I stayed home. The bee sting really took away what little motivation I had to work in WLF. I quit for the day after transplanting some seedlings in to some newly-created planters as well as the ground.

By staying home it allowed me to finish watching the series “Superstore” as well as a Netflix contest show called “Blown Away: Christmas”. I also cooked dinner of some ravioli, with which I ate a salad of lettuce, tomato, and carrot all grown in WLF.

Today I am getting things ready for a Thanksgiving trip in the works.

Hope that you are doing well.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 186.4 pounds (-1.0 from last week’s weigh-in, but still +1.0 from my weigh-in two weeks ago).

All the ponies have clothes on except Tanner and he looks cold this morning!

We’ve been in a meal rut, so we re-upped the Home Chef deliveries. Last night I made pork tacos, which is funny because that’s one of our normal “meal rut” dinners! Tonight might be the chicken ban mi lettuce wraps. Not a normal rut…

Thanksgiving is 2 days away, huh? I guess we need to start getting ready.

When are you driving to Raleigh?
The PT gig won’t be enough money, I also had a Teams short chat interview for a full time gig. It wasn’t the same job as the 1st phone screener conversation. So, it was interesting, but I need to get in touch with the 1st chick, as I have no idea the pay scale for what I talked about yesterday. I’m thinking it’s less money.

I had to run to Kroger for turkey brining ingredients yesterday, found some “managers special” meatballs, so our meal rut spaghetti got an added boost. Used my vacuum sealer to freeze most of the meatballs, so we have more for another day. (Package had 16).

Since Thursday is potluck for us, I just have a few things left to get.

And you have problems with your TPS. Imagine not being able to start or access your Tesla!

    • Lol. Boy howdy would I be pissed off.

The newer BMW scooters have proximity keys that sometimes give problems. I’m good with old school technology, TYVM.

I’m still getting used to keyless start…

          • David says:

Once you get used to keyless start it’s hard to go back. I remember having to use actual keys in a rental car a few years ago and thinking “what’s this shit?” About five years ago I quit carrying a wallet, everything I need is in a cell phone wallet. It would be great to ditch the car keys as well, but I think I’ll hold what I have on that count. My keyless remote has a back-up that I can use if the battery dies, meaning there’s a magnet in the fob that enables me to start the car. Tesla needs to come up with something similar.

It is weird once you get used to the push button start, then having to find the key to start a different car. In the Subaru I hit the break & try to push a button, then remember I need a key.

          • Bonnie says:

David: It is also confusing because my other car (that is 20 years old) still has a key and of course most everything else is different.

          • Bonnie says:

            Barb: Exactly.

          • David says:

Bonnie, muscle memory is brutal! If you have one car with a key and another a button you’re never gonna do the right action in the right car…

        • Steve says:

my Mazda only has one key, so it stay in the car. We both have remotes, so can get in and out. Once we lose that key, we’ll be done.

I drove WAY up to Johns Creek for a taste test today. Damn it’s a long way up Peachtree Pkwy. I doubt I’ll do it again unless it’s a lot of money. I can’t remember what I’m tasting, or what it pays. I guess I should write it down next time. I’m waiting for it to start.
