    Wordle in 4.

I should be “working” from home today, but the Research department decided today would be a great day to move servers!! Their tech and I worked until 6:30 last night when I finally called a halt to it. No notice, little planning, very pissed.

Working late took me out of the mood to ride, so I just enjoyed Debbie’s Dejon pork lion. I did come in late today and will bust outta here once I get this MF squared away.

Happy T-day to all- get stuffed!!

wordle in 3 – another lucky guess.

I forgot to tell y’all about the funky flavor brats I brought back from Iowa.
We tried 2 of the 6 flavors Monday night.
We had the Mac n Cheese flavor (really good, very cheesy) and taco seasoning (good, but weird).
We still have to try some day – Bacon/cheese, jalapeƱo/cheese, ranch seasoning, and dill pickle seasoning.
I have determined I like the skinless brats I get up there better than the ones in the casings.
that’s the brats commentary for today.

Working today until 2:00 when our school closes. I think Emory is open a regular day but our school always closes at 2:00 before a national holiday. Usually I just work the full day but today I am goddamned going to leave at 2:00!

    You’re welcome…

had to get the HVAC guys out – the thermostat wasn’t holding the temperature but was only losing a couple degrees (set at 68, was keeping temp at 66 or 65), but then if I change it to 70, it will go up to 70.
After much head scratching – they found a loose wire in the thermostat.

Now to see if they charge me anything, since we have a annual maintenance contract, and they were just here a couple weeks ago.

OMG, glad it was just a simple fix!

      • Barb says:

yep – it took a little while for them to figure it out.
But – $0 – it was a “warranty” issue on the ppwk.
I really like my HVAC company – they are a small family sort of group. I met the owner thru a friend at a party quite a few years ago. They only work up here in Cobb & Cherokee county as far as I can tell.
