Broken derailleur- no idea what I did, Allan thinks it something about the gear it was n, & when I went to pedal…. It snapped.
I’m so confused.
Soooooo – we are heading back to Atlanta to spend lots of money.
Can’t call the shop(s) until they open at 10am.
Too new, high tech, etc. not a common part to have in stock.
Plus, we need to get my old bike if we didn’t find the part.
Might have found one at Free Flite Canton Rd (Marietta)
Also Wordle fail today. I know that word but I tried every other letter in the alphabet except the ones in that word before utterly failing. Ya win some, ya lose some!
Wordle in 6, just noodle-ing around at first—bit of a shank, maybe a duff. But then—boom! 4 green letters on the third try. Right down the fairway, toward the water. And on the last swing? Nailed it. Total Cinderella story.
Went to my friend Sarah’s house and we had Pollo Primo and solved all the world’s problems.
Not much going on this weekend except Finn’s baseball game tomorrow which is all the way the fuck up in Sandy Springs or Dunwoody or some shit. I am planning to make a soup on Sunday.
I laughed at “Sandy Springs or Dunwoody or some shit”- when you say you’re an intowner, you really mean it!! God forbid you should ever drive to… Luthersville!
Sirius/XM is a big help. It used to be almost entirely NPR, but lately, I just can’t. And fortunately, it’s not every day any longer (AND NEVER WILL BE!).
Got back to camp, 7 mile ride over to The Caboose for a pimento cheese sandwich (in memory of our Team Roadkill friends Vern & Benny).
Now to ride 7 miles back, it’s beer 30 time after our morning.
Wordle in 5 and it took way too long.
An hours ride outdoors yesterday and it felt like crap. I hope your riding is much better this weekend.
Annual HS get together tomorrow at the Irish pub on Virginia Ave in Hapeville tomorrow. Good to see some old friends.
And I think it’s Barb and Allan’s anniversary on Sunday, is it not?
Ride safe.

Well, damn. Athens might be closer…
But employee discount is at Atlanta Cycling
Time and gasoline might just beat the discount…

Wordle FAIL
Not sure I’d have ever gotten that word
Also Wordle fail today. I know that word but I tried every other letter in the alphabet except the ones in that word before utterly failing. Ya win some, ya lose some!
I had the starting letter, but I had it at the end, which it typically is. I had to throw something up to see if it stuck and that guided me.

IT’S IN THE HOLE! (getting ready for Masters weekend, I see.)
I know, it’s really entertaining!
Went to my friend Sarah’s house and we had Pollo Primo and solved all the world’s problems.

You are so right! I always wonder how you do it every day!
