Today I will make the second consecutive day of Publix runs, due to the new BOGOs which dropped today. Yesterday I wandered the deli section looking for coleslaw, and could not find any! I wonder if it’s sold in a different section?

Wordle in 5. Not sure about that word.

Still thinking of dinner options around Butthead prior to the show tonight. Colonnade, OK Cafe (from a different direction) or something else… Parking doesn’t open until 7, so dinner off site is likely.

Watching the weather for this weekend. Working both Lagrange and College Park in the pit. Rainy days means a busy pit.

so many options – I’d look for somewhere with free parking.

    • HamWithCam says:

Suggestions: Velvet Taco, adjacent to the Whole Foods parking lot.
Colonnade (under new ownership, and more better) is a good option.
Jalisco (Peachtree Battle), simple Mex, South on Peachtree, but close enough.
      Of course, OK Cafe…..

hmmm – Velvet Taco, I went once in Sandy Springs, I wasn’t impressed. Might have to try it again?

But really – what are you in the mood for food wise?

what time is the show? We could maybe meet up for dinner if you stay on the I-75 corridor, but we’d have to meet 5:30 ish or later.

      • I’d never heard of Velvet Taco until driving around Sandy Springs on Monday, visiting the old work neighborhood while my friend was in surgery.

Wordle in 5 – I agree Steve – what the heck is that word.

Walked over & voted in a county commissioner race – exciting stuff over here in Cobb county.

Made a casserole with a recipe I saw using leftover ham & potatoes – it wasn’t that exciting, wasn’t bad, but I won’t do that again.

So I was wrong about the wiper fluid, I actually can’t hear the whirring of the little motor, so I think it’s a bigger problem than crud. *Sigh* I don’t know where to go to fix this except the dealer, so I’ll have them do an oil change and a once-over as well.

Date Night (TM) at Bartaco last night: half priced tacos and they are SO good! We had the barbacoa, pork carnitas, the grouper, and a taco called the Trailer Park which is fried chicken with pico de gallo, very similar to the fried chicken taco at Taqueria del Sol. Definitely having all of those again.

    • Barb says:

1/2 priced tacos – that sounds awesome

    • Bob says:

You can take your car to the dealer for the wiper fluid problem but it would be pricey. Any regular shop can look at it, I imagine it is a loose wire or the pump went bad which is easily diagnosed and replaced.

  4. If I had paid attention at the cash register and asked why one of my products didn’t ring up as a BOGO in Publix, it would have been a smashing day of grocery shopping. My inattention cost me $3.50, which is not enough to go back and fix it.

    Hello ITP peeps!!
I am trying to get wordle in 3, between guesses 1 and 2 I have all 5 letters but I’m too dumb to figure it out. Need to ponder it a bit more.
Tonight I have my second to last HOA meeting! I will be so happy to step away from this mess. I guess it’s not terrible, just annoying.
Last night I pre-bowled since I can’t make the league tonight and finally did well. I also spent some time with the manager of the lanes who was on the PBA tour for a while and he gave me some great tips/adjustments. Gives me stuff to work on to improve my game 🙂
Speaking of Publix BOGO, when I was in Florida the Publix had beer as BOGO. That would NEVER happen in GA

  6. Steve says:

Didn’t we have a zebra or a camel loose on 75/85 a couple years back?

    Alabama has tried to match.

  7. Bob, do you have a beer carrying recommendation for BRAG? I was considering a beer sling, which I think you have.

  8. Barb says:

Paulie – I’ve been sooooo careful, but I have a couple little spots of poison ivy on my arm. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
