With the heavy rain that came through last night I was cursing myself for not getting up onto the roof yesterday and blowing off all of the crap that trees have dropped recently. As I type this I have no idea how WLF survived the heavy downpour.

Had a lovely evening at home watching baseball. Sox WON! When it started to storm I went out to the screened in back porch and enjoyed it for a while before going to bed.

Sally & I went for a walk around the neighborhood – it was starting to get a little cloudy, but was very nice.
About 30-45 minutes after I got back home, it started storming like crazy.
Ground is soft from the rain – so Allan (& maybe me if work slows down) might get some yard cleanup done.

For all of the hoopla I think WLF caught less than an inch of rain (according to my rain gauge).
It appears that two out of my three pawpaw trees are alive! Still hoping and waiting the third decides to sprout something.
We bought into the season ticket group for Atlanta United again this year and we have 5 games. Sorry, MATCHES. Anyway, we had a game in March that we couldn’t go to so we sold the tickets on Stubhub. So our first game of the season is tomorrow against New England Revolution. I’m excited! I’ll be wearing a United jersey but secretly I’ll be rooting for New England.

Good morning from a rest stop somewhere in MS off I -10.
The storm came in and the lights went out last night. As we left this morning, we saw a tree leaning on a power line e and the main road had power. It was just the neighbors and us.
I did manage a ride yesterday before the weather came in.

I do like riding up there, but it’s sooooooooo far away from me, never mind Steve.
