Well, I’m not half blind but I still have the chalazion. Apparently in eight years some procedures have changed, and I have to attempt shrinking it using a $25 prescription ointment and returning in a few weeks to see if it needs to be drained. This whole rigmarole will probably wind up costing me $1000.
Wordle: five, my starter was AMIGO
Last night was the 1st night this spring we sat outside on the deck all evening.
There still is some of the pine tree sh*t around, but most of it is gone.
Other than that – a boring work filled day.
Today I need to start packing for Colorado, we leave early Thursday morning – meeting Allan at the firehouse & taking Marta the rest of the way. Looks like the weather is going to be everything, cold & warm & maybe even a little snow?
Colorado? I did not know you were headed there. Have fun!
long weekend trip to Heeney & then Fort Collins, with a lunch stop with my niece in Denver in the middle.
Drew & Michelle have moved since we were there last. (& have all new dogs – I was trying to remember when we were out there – it’s been at least 10 years)
2014?
Nope, 2016. I apparently wrote a blog post talking about it back when this was going to be my life’s reference.
It did remind me of how angry I was for getting charged $75 for spilling beer on those nasty carpets at the lodge in Winter Park… 🙁
I forgot about that $75 – yes -that was bullshit
I googled Colorado Invihash & found a blog post from 2008.
I searched for Fort Collins using the search bar on the blog.
2008, was that Monarch?
2008 was Walsenburg (I think)
Wordle in 3.

Look at you with all of the fun choring. High Five!
Allan got all that pressure washing done last week too.
And – burned our big brush pile – time to start the new one.
Happy Tax Day! I have no idea if our accountants filed on time, I assume they did. I miss doing my own taxes, I used to actually enjoy it.
If that ointment works then you can use it next time you get one of those eye issues, if it happens again. Then you won’t have to live with it for weeks/months before going to the eye doctor.
I did our taxes back in February – Turbo tax is cheaper in February.
Ours in not complicated, I always think, we should buy property, or do something like that, but then taxes would be more complicated, and I’d have to pay someone.
I had to pay a little to state, I saw the money came out of the checking account yesterday as I had it scheduled.
I used Turbo Tax too. It was easy when it was just my single income and no property. Simpler times.
Don’t think mine have been filed yet, though I hope that happens today, since I’ve seen no activity ha deposit, and a withdrawal) from my checking account.
I read yesterday that Georgia has until May 1st (?) to file because of the hurricane.
Interesting. Thanks to the idiot in Washington DC I get my news from this blog.
Oh yeah, I also saw that yesterday. Florida and some other states also have until May 1.
I went back & read the blog post from 2008 from Walsenburg, and the 2016 from Winter Park & Fort Collins. That was a blast from the past.
lol. I didn’t read them, perhaps I should.
I can’t remember which year was Boulder, 2012? That was the year the Jackmobile’s transmission shit the bed, and I passed out in my hotel room on the Saturday night of the hash.
It amazes me how much time has passed since those Colorado InviHash days. They were really fun times, even if I got cockblocked from having sex with Furburger (or however one spells her hashname).
Phirrburger. Not really sure where we got that spelling.
yes- I really miss those trips – they were always so much fun.
I think our last one was the Winter Park one in 2016.
Yep, I’ve not been back since 2016.
it is very breezy out – don’t think we will ride later, guess we will have to get out for a walk.
