More things for 2025, that I forgot about yesterday:
– learn to make an awesome pimiento cheese
– succeed making a sourdough starter, and from it, great loaves of sourdough bread

Wordle: six, my starter was REACH (poor Wordling by me today, four of the six words I played have been solutions)

On the MARTA heading to the airport.
The FB posted the Masters Pimento cheese sandwich recipe all last week.
Who knows if it was authentic

  2. Barb says:

Willy’s breakfast burrito (concourse B) is huge- we should have split one.
The plan is to stop in Idaho Springs for pizza – hope I’ll be hungry by then.
Will our rental car be ready? That’s always the biggest question.

Wordle in 5. I threw a search word in to get the ending, as I saw it going south quickly.

The roll off is full to overflowing. The2 piles Iwanted gone are, but I couldn’t fit it all in. I had to put the last loads into the woods. I also filled a few armadillo burrows I found.

Really good sushi for dinner. I don’t mind paying for that level of quality and skill.

Have a great time, Barb. Our regards to Drew and Michelle.

Wordle in 4- Allan tried to help, but doesn’t really know the rules, so all his suggestions were not going to work.

  4. Barb says:

    Overhead bins—-
Lay your bag flat like a quesadilla, not on its side like a taco.
    Funny flight attendant today

  5. Out in WLF. Been transplanting tomatoes, eggplant, and tomatillos. Still more peppers and tomatoes to go into the ground, trying to be strategic. Still to come later in the season are squash, beans, okra, corn; probably one or two things I’m forgetting…

  6. Met another lizard friend today. Can’t wait until I hear and see the toads.

  7. Jenka says:

I have nothing to report. Made chicken and broccoli for dinner and watched the Red Sox win against the Rays.

  8. Barb says:

Since we are in Main cabin, trying to use my drink vouchers.
FA can’t make the program work to scan my QR codes.
She may come bs knower, she may not.
It’s so hard to use these vouchers. ????????????

  9. As if I wanted to feel more like it is the early-mid 1990s, the music to which I was listening while farming today, I’m essentially eating cup-o-soup for lunch.

  10. Steve says:

Rear wheel back on the scooter. Replaced brake shoes and they seem to work. Next winter, I’ll rebuild the caliper as only one of the pistons seems to be working normally. Not a lot of need for a rear brake as 90% of the stopping power is in the front.

Now on to the front forks. I hope this is quick so I can get moving on 2 wheels of some variety.

  11. Continuing to monitor health of transplants. I’m guessing I will be 60-70% successful, as the transplants were/are too tall for ideal transplanting.

  12. I kissed last year, but I just filled and hung a hummingbird feeder.

  13. Jenka says:

I have tomorrow off because it’s Good Friday, and we’re heading up to the cabin as soon as we get Finn of to school in the morning. We have a roofer coming to give us an estimate, as well as some other workmen to address things that need to get done.

  14. Barb says:

    1st beers –
Colorado brewing Blonde, Great Divide brewing Hazy.

In Idaho Springs getting Colorado style pizza at Beau Jo’s.
(We’ve been told this is the place to go)
