Today I hope to have the chalazion on my eyelid removed. Fingers crossed that all goes well.

Thanks to a couple of ITP Readers, I have learned about the Chattahooligan BRAG training ride and drinking at Sosebee Cycling Park on May 24th. I’m in, weather permitting of course. BRAG starts in one month.

Wordle: four, my starter was STAGE. Probably should have been three, but I got sloppy with my third guess.

Wordle in 2! It took me way too long to get it.

Dinner at the Colonnade was pretty good. I think we brought DOWN the average age by a good 5 years. I can certainly see the comparison to Mary Mac’s.

Chris Isaak put on his normally great show. As Debbie said when we were leaving, it’s always the same music, but he’s always entertaining and mixes it up. A rhythm guitar that was painfully loud on occasion was the only flaw. The crowd was certainly older, but I didn’t notice any canes! Back home by 11:15 after getting hung up in lane closures. I think Waze tried to redirect, but I missed it.

    another boring day –
but did go to Discount Tire & they confirmed what our regular car place said – we need Tires on the Subaru.
I thought maybe the warranty I had on the tires would get us a discount since we are only at about 40,000 miles (80,000 mile tire) – nope – there’s the age of the tires too – so – full price.
Time to spend money one of these days in the near future.

Dropped my car at the dealer this morning and I’m glad I did because there’s a recall on the fuel pump motor. I was so worried about getting there for my 8:00 am drop off that I was there by 7:40.

Had dinner at Ela last night with my former boss, she rolled off as dean last summer. It was great to catch up with her. And that place is somewhere where you can have a conversation, not too loud.

  5. Eye procedure, assuming it happens, is at 13:10. I will most likely be recovering and silent for the rest of today afterwards.

  6. Out playing in WLF this morning, and just got bitten on the top of my foot by an ant, or so I would imagine given my history.
