AT&T keeps sending me offers so that I will return to them. Yeah, no. Being an AT&T stockholder is punishment enough for me these days.

Critters sure make it hard to enjoy gardening/farming. Last night during a break in the rain (WLF caught 1.5″) I saw that something tried to gnaw into the only Georgia Candy Roaster Squash of decent size. It doesn’t appear that the critter successfully got to the flesh, so when it’s ripe I will eat it immediately, after investigating the area with the bite marks first.

Wordle: five, my starter was CHAIR

According to my self-kept statistics, it’s been seven months since I scored my last Wordle deuce.

    Wordle in 6.

Debbie is dropped at the airport and I was just a bit behind getting to the orifice.

Pulled the trigger on new tires for the new scoot- $500!! And that’s still not mounted. Thinking about buying the little mounting machine to DIY- will save on gas alone!

Half hour hard on the trainer, as the same rain that kept you home also kept me.

wordle FAIL – but I wasted 1 guess not paying attention

Last night an old friend Julie that I think we met thru Bob (& Luis) back in the day came over for dinner. She missed my birthday, so we finally got to catch up.

Rained like hell in the later afternoon.

  3. Jenka says:

It rained hard at the office but then stopped by about 5:30. The rest of the evening was just, like, wet but not really raining. We went to Wahoo for dinner and then home to watch the Sox lose. Again.

Wordle in 6 and I was glad to get it. I got the 2nd and 3rd letters right off the bat and then guessed every combination. Do you know how many words have those two letters? Ugh.

  5. Bob says:

I had all intentions to ride last night but the rain kept me inside ๐Ÿ™ This afternoon looks much better so hopefully I can get out.

Need to start packing, heading down to Orlando next week to take care of my dad while my step mother takes a break and goes on a little vacation with her sister. Not sure how this will work out, hopefully I can find a quiet place to work.
Taking the bike with me so I can do a stop in Ocala for a ride and hopefully get out to Alafia for another ride too, we shall see.

  6. Sweating my nards off in WLF. So. Much. To. Clean. Up.
    And, more critter destruction.
On the positive side, itโ€™s good exercise!
