Having A Mostly Great Time, Be Glad You’re Not Here

Or, “Dave’s not here.”

My room advertised WiFi, but I never could get it to work. This was a real bummer because I was planning on doing research for my travels today. Even worse, I chose to pay for a hotel room over sleeping in a campground to save money specifically to have WiFi access. Dangen!

  1. Martha says:

Paulie, you are missing all the fun here. As soon as I got to work today I was told to go to my “Shelter in Place” because of the tornado … true awesomeness.

Glad you found some wifi…we always worry when we don’t hear from you.

  2. Yikes! All that rain and now the possibility of another tornado? If my house gets destroyed I am taking it as a Sign that I should no longer live there.

  3. Martha says:

If anything happens I’ll pack up what is left and ship it out to you. We are under a tornado watch until 10 tonight.

I was out in this craziness doing bootcamp…other than I wasn’t bleeding you could have sworn I just finished a Black Sheep trail.

  4. Stacy says:

Ha! Paulie, your house probably will get destroyed….just as soon as you put on a new roof or something (much like the weather cooled down after you fixed the air conditioning).

In weather news, at 11:45 Mountain Time (see me convert just for you?), it is suddenly sunny and beautiful again here in MAR-etta, Georgia. I’d be nice and toasty warm now, but I’m still damp from my car-to-office dash through the tropical storm 6 hours ago.

  5. Not to brag, but I am now drinking beer in Durango.

I’ll never fix up my house now that I know it means that it will be destroyed if I do.

  6. Stacy says:

Unless, of course, you’re well insured and really wanting to move. Then? Rock on and fix up.

I’m jealous. Do they have any fun beers in Durango? You should be keeping a list of all the new ones you’ve been trying over there —> in the column somewhere.

  7. Barb says:

Are you at the SKA brewery finding out what we will be drinking this weekend?

  8. Durango has much beer. I am done with eight of my ten samplers at Carver Brewing Co. I will have to walk around a bit befoe I start driving again. 🙂

  9. No Ska, I want to be surprised. 🙂
