must have partied it up with Laura last night???

  2. Steve says:

Burning that candle at both ends I see!!

The lost foxhound that returned late yesterday (Legion is his name) is a very hansome young man who would be a great marathon training partner, just sayin.

25 miles on the bike last night and except for my back, which doesn’t like it when I push hard, was a pretty good ride.

For some reason, this short week has been quite long and I’m ready for the weekend. Saturday evening is the final big race at the velodrome in EP. I could certainly be convinced to show up if there was a motion on the floor…

  3. Laura says:

That’s right, Barb. It’s hard to keep up with a party animal like me!!!!

Paulie, last night was so much fun. I really enjoyed the concert with you. It reminded me of the good ole days….back when I was fun.

  4. Barb says:

I knew it – Laura pulled out her former fun self! Just kidding Laura.

I’m supposed to go to a 50th birthday party Saturday night, its a pirate theme. I’m not in the mood to figure out a costume & dress up. Velodrome sounds more fun. But, I should go to the birthday party. Allan is working, so I’m solo.

Sunday we are thinking about a Sosebee ride (Bud Plant area), time TBD by Allan’s amount of sleep Saturday night. The Sosabee’s have been doing a lot of work to the park, and have a 2nd park, so we are thinking we will ride their marked route to see what’s been done. I think its about 45 miles, which will kill me in my current lack of physical conditioning…..

  5. Steve says:

Laura, you’re obviously in better party shape than Paulie- having young un’s will do that, I guess.

  6. I have nothing on my agenda for tomorrow night. Let me know when to meet you at the velodrome.

  7. Oh, and while Miss Trick partied like an animal, it was my inability to get out of bed before 7:30am this morning combined with the huge shitstorm of things I need to get out by noon today which causes this delay of game.

  8. Jenka says:

I’ve been REALLY busy at work the past month-ish so my attendance at the ITP Corral has been spotty. Martha, trust me, I wasn’t waiting on you at all. But it was nice to run with you again.

Steve, HAH! If you come to the Meet ‘n’ Greet that Martha and I are going to tonight, you certainly *can* watch her pump up the tires in the bike she owns that she has lent me for an indeterminate amount of time! That doesn’t sound quite as interesting, does it? 🙂

I’m house-sitting in Ormewood Park this week and while that is delightful, the longer commute to work SUCKS. I’ll be glad to get back to my less-than-palatial apartment and its 12-minute commute.

  9. Barb says:

What kind of Meet ‘n’ Greet involves bringing a bike? Sounds interesting.

  10. Jenka says:

It doesn’t. It’s for a candidate for the Board of Education for APS. I just desperately need a pump. HEH.

  11. Barb says:

Ohhhhh. that’s extra funny to me now.

  12. Harumph! I am not going to find time this afternoon. Stoooopid job that helps me pay my bills!

Have a great weekend everyone. Steve, holler at me about tomorrow.

  13. Steve says:

    Will do, Paulie.

The tractor is ready. The guy had to trace down a short, get a new sending unit and figure out a way to test the oil pressure. 1 sensor and all that labor, $20.

While he said he would put the labor into someone elses’ bill I think there is a 6 pack in his future.
