I’m Partying Like It’s 2007

Because 2007 was the last Cheddarhead in which I won the bowling championship.

THREEPEAT, BABY!!!

Admittedly my winning score of 170 was far from the 245 I rolled back in ’07. I don’t remember bowling so well back then but I wrote it up in the blog so it must be true.

My bowling victory made up for an otherwise disappointing Cheddarhead in which I couldn’t run, only got a few sips of Wisconsin beer at the beer stop, didn’t get any poutine at the end, and there were no kegs of Wisconsin beer this year.

As I reacquainted myself with some old friends yesterday I heard how many of them no longer read this space. Their loss. 🙂 So with that I will see most of you readers later today at ITP-Readers Bob’s and Laura’s house.

I’m already running late today so this will have to be another brief blog.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Only a few sips of Wisconsin beer! That’s horrible. Tell you what… I’ll save you a couple of good ones from my stash I brought home and the next time I see you, we can remedy that. 🙂

    Congrats on the bowling win!

You didn’t get any poutine? you didn’t try very hard. I went over there after everyone had eaten the main food & they still had plenty. Barely got any cheese curds, but I have a frozen stash at my house. Maybe when we have football fried day we will make some poutine too.

Bowling was fun, but I sucked as usual at it. Allan & I ended up bowling 4 games, so we were tied 2 – 2. Good way to quit. He bowled much better than me over all.

It was good to hang with TLS & Cums, I still can’t believe they are moving to New Zealand. Such a cool adventure, I hope the best for them.

A football fried day, Barb? I’m intrigued! 😀 (I have a stash of frozen curds myself!)

Yeah, walking with 5, 6, and 9 year old kids is a little slow going. Great times though.
That bowling lane was tough to figure out, very inconsistent. I also suck at bowling so my scores were not that great either.
Fresh air, beer, brats, and bowling, all put together makes for a fun day.

You won? How was that possible?

I hate the dark alleys. You can’t see the distant lane markings, so I don’t have a good aiming spot. Not that it really matters. And I’m with Barb on the poutine- they were giving it away AT&T he end, but by that time, I had already had a second brat.

Congratulations to those darned buckeyes. They took advantage of Alabamas mistakes and they paid for it.

    See y’all this afternoon.

I wasnt really hungry at the end, though I did manage to eat some fried curds and a brat.

Been a super-productive day thus far. I’ve gotten a haircut, went to Warby Parker in Buckhead and ordered two new pairs of eyeglasses, went to Target and bought a new filter for the ITP Estate’s HVAC, and now I have returned hoke to eat a late lunch.
