It Took 32 Years

But I finally beat Toys ‘R’ Us. In the mid-1980s Toys ‘R’ Us turned me down as a managerial candidate. I was young, stupid, and so pissed at the company that I returned to Junior College.

Yesterday Toys ‘R’ Us filed Chapter 11.
I have yet to do the same.

I just ate a cup of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Crunch that was so sweet, sugar is the second ingredient listed, that I feel as if I just ate a candy bar for breakfast. Improved health and eating habits will occur slowly if I don’t start looking at the packages before I buy/open them.

  1. Urban Explorers Mystery Dinner tonight, this month we hit up Decatur. Anyone want to venture a guess as to where I will be dining? I have no intel, so I am going to guess Leon’s Full Service.

I managed to survive yesterday without a wallet. The show was mostly a waste of time, but it was neat to see some new equipment, even if we never install it.

After the show I rolled towards the Games meeting but still wanted to get some cash. Rather than sell my body, I remembered Wells Fargo has a way to have an ATM give you money without a card. I merely loaded their app and used my regular web sign on. Pretty slick, I have to say.

Games are rolling now. Didn’t leave the meeting until almost 9:30! Won’t these people ever shut up? I’m dragging this morning…

Last night had Claire & Darrell (aka Blue Ball & Bonehole) come by for a motorcycle seat trade – Allan got in a little mishap a week or 2 ago, (car decided to hit him) and he’s fine, but we figure the little damage to the moto will total it (its a 91). The seat was just recently recovered & wasn’t cheap – so they have basically the same moto, so giving them the better parts. Had a little Tasty China dinner to go with it.

Tonight – Allan is working at the Atlanta United game, I will hopefully be going out for a hike. I really need some serious exercise.

    oh yeah, almost forgot
Felicia, Wayne, her mom & the dogs & bird all survived Maria in St Croix. House is flooded from all the rain, not sure about what other damage, but there is some, but they still have their roof. She had cell & internet for a few minutes this morning, not sure if she still does.

Wow.. I can’t even imagine being somewhere like that for a hurricane. I was bothered enough about Irma! Here!
