If running is to be a part of my workout routine, I think it needs to be more frequent than once a month. I ran last night and I still feel it this morning. Ick.

Phinney was a pill the other day coming home on the trailer- in fact he broke a part of the stall. Debbie wanted to take him hunting this morning so last night we attempted to load and unload him a few times. He wasn’t cooperating and it took a while but he managed. I haven’t heard a report today on how the load went. She could still ride over, but that takes a bit more time.

    How was the show Barb?

Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats were a totally entertaining show.
If you ever get a chance to see them – go.
They wore makeup since it was Halloween & Nathaniel was like……… this makeup seemed like a fun idea, but damn it isn’t!!! He was pretty funny, and seemed to really enjoy performing, and really enjoy that the crowd was there. and – he has some fancy footwork too.
Opening band was blah……. luckily they only played about 5-6 songs.
The Roxy is a nice venue – we sat upstairs in the general admission seats, was happy we didn’t have to stand the whole concert. Might have to pay a little extra to get the reserved seats – they were nicer (padded) seats and of course closer.

  4. Howdy folks.

Great day to take MARTA to work! Hollywood is using our office for a set, and there will be an accident scene filmed on 14th Street as well. Traffic appears to be snarled, I took the train and walked from Midtown station. Yea, me!

I guess it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other, but isn’t Arts Station closer? We have a notice on our internal message boards warning about the shoot and how it might screw with traffic. Today and tomorrow, so a good day to MARTA.

      • Arts Center is closer, but I need the exercise and Midtown is across from Dancing Goats Coffee, so I stopped in and picked up a cup to go.

This is what progress for Paulie looks like, Steve. It’s good stuff. Purposeful inefficiency is a great start. Plus a nice cup of coffee instead of a gut-busting breakfast. Tactic changes are indeed afoot (pun very much intended).

        • Steve says:

“afoot”! I see what you did there. Paulie is making small steps! (I crack myself up)

And we got Paulie to walk back from the cliff of killing the blog…we’re here all week, folks. Two drink minimum. Please tip your servers.
