What are your plans for T-day? We have slowly been cleaning in preparation of the invasion by Debbie’s family. I got a call from my niece, inviting us to Golden Corral for T-day. Umm… pass.

I’ll let Debbie tell her good news.

Steve – you & Debbie can roadtrip to Marietta & join us – I’ll send you the invite on FB

    • How you feeling today? I’m fighting something, hopefully it will not materialize into a cold.

And for those keeping score at home: yesterday I turned on the heat at the ITP Estate; it was 56° F inside when I arrived home yesterday.

    • Steve says:

Sadly Barb, it’s considered poor form for the host and hostess to bail out on the event. Maybe Debbie wouldn’t notice if I did? (hi honey, only joking)

I’m in denial that 18 people are about to descend on our house, but I guess I better get to cleaning and cooking.

Next week I start a real job! It’s with a company I first interviewed with 4 years ago and have been doing contract work for for the last year. It’s structured just the way I’ve been hoping for – 4 days a week with Wednesdays off.

I’m going to have to wear pants all day which is going to be a tough transition! Fortunately I’ll be working from home for the first 6 weeks so I can ease into the whole pants wearing thing.

    • 👏🏻👍🏻🎉

Congratulations, Debbie! There’s *huge* power in setting intentions, and then giving things the necessary time to play out. The flip side, for me at least, has been to be careful what I ask for. I’ve found it to be a bit of superpower, with things I’d think were way out of reach coming to fruition, when perhaps they shouldn’t have. It’s all part of the journey though.

    • Stacy says:

Congratulations, Debbie! What wonderful news! 🙂 (hear ya on the pants thing though….) 😉

      • Debbie Brady says:

Thanks y’all! I’m excited. I think having more structure in my days will be much healthier for me.

I’m not sure this will be the long-term fit for me, but it’s good to get started in the right direction.

The office is in LaGrange right off the interstate so I couldn’t ask for an easier commute.

      • Barb says:

        WHOOO HOOO DEBBIE!!!!!

  4. Barb says:

I’ve still got a serious head cold, or whatever- my whole head is pounding, but no nore fever.
So – I’m here at work today- so much fun……..
