Given that the start was no more than three blocks from the ITP Estate I felt guilty not going to last night’s hash. But that storm!!! Holy hell did it rain hard. I couldn’t see how any pre-laid trail could have survived, and I was not in the mood to run in the rain.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 208.2 pounds (+2.2 from last week’s weigh-in). My pants have been telling me that this was not a successful week. I need to eat less and exercise more again…

That storm was CRAY. As the kids like to say. Do the kids still say that? Actually probably not anymore. I’m not hip enough to know these things. (“Hip” probably isn’t said anymore either)

If anyone’s looking for anything to do this evening, there is an event at the Center for Civil and Human Rights called “Party with the Past.” It’s free, starts at 6:30. A handful of us are also meeting beforehand at McCormick & Schmidt’s as they apparently have a great happy hour — I’ve seen the signs for it for years now and have always wanted to pop in and try. (The menu on their website indeed confirms the prices are stellar!) http://www.atlantahistorycenter.com/programs/party-with-the-past-center-for-civil-and-human-rights

It’s very hard to work this week, wanting Friday to come so I can get on with vacation already. 🙂

I suppose we missed most of the storm yesterday. We got a bit of wind and rain, but it was over in 20 minutes. Now Friday, we have enough wind to take the tops out of a couple trees, which naturally, landed on the fence. Debbie got them off with the tractor Saturday, and I will cut them up tonight.

    Must. Exercise. Tonight.

I have an install tomorrow evening that will keep me in the office late, so I may get a run in beforehand. I had hoped to prestage the gear, but it will only be ready at 5PM today… grrrr.

well – the hash got changed to drinking practice at SoBa last night due to flour being washed away by the rain, so you didn’t miss the trail.

    • Thanks, I feel less guilty.

I figured that might happen, and since I knew that I’d be on the wrong side of weight loss today I figured that I didn’t need more drinking practice.
