Armageddon was supposed to hit the hash yesterday and thankfully it did not. An incorrect weather forecast, sure we did get rained upon, combined with the hares cutting their trail in half made for a pleasurable day of hashing.

Tonight my “Comedy of Mishaps” Moonlite trail starts near the temporarily-closed north side parking lot of the Inman Park / Reynoldstown MARTA station. I suppose I should figure out where I am ending before I start laying trail.

A pretty good weekend. One crash requiring an incident report, one DQ’d junior for admitting to drafting a Pro rider and saying he knew it was against the rules. (his dad was great- he was the one to ask if he new it was against the rules!) Some time penalties issued for not signing in. All in all a good time. The rain shortened the Pro race when the moto reported no one was racing. A solo rider had gone away and no one wanted to chase.

Still coughing a bit, but didn’t have much choice over the weekend, so I had to get better.

Sorry I’m not supporting your trail tonight, but Debbie is on the road and I’ve got to get home to take care of the animals.

Barb, do you use fabric softener?

    • No worries. Unless something bizarre happens, this will not be a trail discussed by anyone in the future…

    • barb says:

not a lot of fabric softeners, though at times I think some laundry could use it more. (& not much of a perfume wearer) – but it isn’t me – I have a Crosstrek.

The automaker filed a notice Thursday to recall 300,000 Impreza and Forester models in Japan made between 2008 and 2017

weekend wasn’t bad – Friday happy hour was an “interesting” crew – but I had told Crip Teaser I’d giver her a ride, it was her 40th birthday Saturday.

Saturday Allan slept until 1pm, I walked to the grocery store to get some veggies for dinner – we cooked a brisket on the Egg – it was quite tasty.

Sunday met some friends for Pho in Roswell – its good, but it doesn’t excite me as much as some other people. Made Allan go shopping in Kohl’s – I wanted a new pair of jeans – and I learned Levi’s don’t get the Kohl’s 30% coupon discount. I also got another pair of non Levi’s – wasn’t sure which pair I liked better – they are close enough to the same – the Levi’s (at twice the price) are being returned!

Also went & got some cheap wine at Trader Joe’s – 1 called MOTO red blend – at $4 – its not too bad at all. Also one called Tribunal Red Blend – its $10 – but came highly recommended, so I’m going to try it. Why I’m buying wine right before we leave for a CA wine trip – I have no idea.

    • Did you talk to Joe (aka “Slim Pickens”) on Friday? He is a friend of Bonnie and me from Urban Explorers who began hashing almost a year ago.

    • Bonnie says:

I STILL haven’t made my way into Trader Joe’s since moving here!?!? It’s still on the list. Aldi (closer and easier to park) has been ticking the box for cheap wine purchases for now.

      • The closest TJ has that nightmarish parking lot, which was almost the start for tonight’s hash.

        • Stacy Fox says:

Hahaha no way. Don’t ever start a hash at the TJ’s; they’ll boot everyone’s ass. However, that lot is adjacent to a nice big movie theater parking lot and there’s a staircase right up to the TJ’s behind the Nathan’s/Brusters. If I’m not walking, I’ll just park over there to avoid the hassle. I’m at TJ’s a lot. 🙂

I’d say go on random weekday mornings or afternoons, Bonnie. Never trouble then.

      • barb says:

Bonnie- I think you’d like that store – they have lots of stuff for your vegan diet.
There is no Trader Joe’s convenient for me, parking isn’t bad at at the East Cobb store, but its hard to get in & out depending on what direction you need to go.
So – since I had tried the $4 wine & thought it was pretty good (for $4) I thought – I’ll make Allan shop even more!!!
